I am an old hat to forum platform rp but this style is new to me but is refreshing. Its been a blast reading the current op and already have some favs. Quinn is an old comrade from the StarWars days and he turned me to USCM and it has been pure gold so far. Already registered and uploaded character I'm sure will be affectionately referred to as the Irish Mountain.... He's ex Weyland miner and good old boy from Dublin wiling to follow orders if it means blowing up or putting a round through the bean of a threat to "His Boys", a term he refuses to explain but hints its a good thing for you and bad for the bastards who start trouble.

MacGreggor is a Demo Specialist cross trained for Sniper/Scout, dispatching the Corps. enemies from all ranges and a pretty light show.

Welcome aboard, MacGreggor! (or should I just call you Mac?) My dad was a Marine with McKay for his last name and everyone just called him Mac(k). Never Mick, that I know of. I suppose Mick would have been strictly Irish, and as Dad was Scots-Irish, you didn't want to be leavin' the Mac out of it, would you now?

For myself, I'm Scots-Irish on my Dad's side and Asian on my Mother's, so I find it easier to play Russians. I suppose it's geographically between the two places on the globe. As a logical explanation, it works as well as any other but I've long ago given up trying to make sense of it. LOL!

Real name is Jeremy but please call use whatever youre comfortable.. Myself I'm unsure of pedigree but definitely have a bit of Scot and a mix of something else. Born and bred Texan out of Dallas so I enjoy Morse's origin all the more. Recently moved to Cali for new start... Quinn didn't have to twist my arm to get involved in this rp. Always prowled the xenos station rooms in Ayenee hay day in the 90s. Though never as a USCM but usually something from Robotech or my own creation. Been Rping most of my life and I have a gift for spinning tapestries out of words and bringing into new worlds or old ones we are familiar with.

Been out of the game for awhile but its like riding a bike, you never truly forget. Feel like I'm getting to write in my own story into an epic SciFi best seller and its a pleasure to play and create alongside other writers of great caliber. You honor me.

So at 45 I am an avid gamer, but this sight is all I have to feed my addiction this days.

I'm new to the game, though I have been a friend of someone who's been on the forums for a long while, Corporal Hicks. I was coming up with a character. Here's what I have so far from what I've come up with:

Corporal Nikolai Pushkin:

Originally a Russian immigrant from Oymyakon, Russia in the Siberian tundra, Nikolai moved to the United States, hoping to find a better life than in the frozen wasteland of home. He originally joined the USCM hoping to gain citizenship into the land he had grown to love. Given that he excelled with computers and technology, he was assigned to the role of ComTech. Having seen some combat in previous missions, he eventually was promoted to Corporal.

I took over as the officer in your absence. We are now a sort of elite spec ops unit doing a mission on Fiorina 161 (from Alien 3). JuanPerez is our current GM and the campaign is going great. It's up to him when we can get you into the game but you're certainly on the waiting list.
