Weird War 3 - Idea for a campaign

So I've got this idea to run a Savage Worlds game set during World War 3 and have a whole bunch of mystical and alien stuff happen at the same time.

Anybody got any suggestions for how the war kicked off, who's fighting who, what magical creatures and aliens turn up and what Technology and Magic is deployed.

At this moment I'm just brain storming so any suggestions are acceptable!

I guess nobody has any ideas for me, well thats just fine, as I can come up with some ideas of my own!

I've actually been thinking about running a game using the 3;16 Carnage In Space rules. Anybody got a copy of the rules?

Not only do I like that idea Obi I think I'm going to turn it into a sexy TV show!

We can call it something like Space Vixens: Battle For Earth! and it can be played on those TV channels that you have to pay for.

Also I'm probably going to put the Space Vixens game on hold for the moment as its much to sexy to play!

Seriously though I think I've got a couple of possible ideas for a Weird War 3 game.

I'm going to base it on an American unit, any suggestions of which one?, thrown into the mix as what looks like North Korean forces overrun the Korean DMZ and advance on Seoul.

You could use the more famous units, like the 101st, 82nd Airborne, 85th Mountaineers, 75th Ranger Regiment, SEAL Team 12...

You could also use some other nation's forces, like SAS or GSG-9.
