Ward covered Quinn as he checked the bodies. He kept his aim on the eggs. He had a terrible feeling the situation would turn to shit fast.

"Actually, if he's a PFC, you just say 'okay' or 'roger'. Only officers are refered to as 'sir', Petrova." Ward said, keeping his eyes on the eggs.

Ward kept his finger off the trigger. Though, if he needed to, he could easily move it onto the trigger and let loose a barrage of red hot lead. With the lack of probably visibility and illumination, they were in a perfect spot for an ambush. The eggs were a giant snag and they would have to find a way to get around her or annihilate every one of them.

Morse continued to look down the hall, and as before there was nothing there. To which he sat back down with his back to the barricade, he then said

The idea is, im fightin with ya, not above ya. The other point im sayin is we dont see any incommin enemies down this road, and i sure as hell hope we do before theyre right on top of us

Eric was listening to the radio. What he was hearing barely made sense, what was going on in there? He just kept watching over the barricade.

James looked around. They were all dead. Damn he thought. He wanted to get these guys out alive. Well then, he would do the next best thing.

Ward heard Gunnery Sergeant Screaming-Eagle's plan and nodded at it. He liked it. It was sensible and it definitely seemed to be the proper idea to uphold to. But, in the end, it was up to the lieutenant. He only hoped that the lieutenant agreed with the Gunny's thoughts and assessment.

Morse who was still sitting down, not watching over the barricade, wanted to know how things were going up ahead. So he spoke into his com.

Erik kept his head on a swivel, the barricade would not help much against these things... they were just too fast. He temporarily lost his focus, images flashed across his mind's eye. A man talking to him on the witness stand........ a woman smiling at him...... His first day at boot..... countless others, the images began to move too fast for him to comprehend.

It stoped all of a sudden.

It ended with the image that would be seared into his memory for as long as he lived. The queen ripping through the bulkhead. He quickly shoot his head, attempting to clear all the useless thoughts out. "There is a time for everything mein freund, now is not the time for that" Erik said quietly. He began to scan the environment again, with both his eyes and his m41.

Morse heard Erik's little whisper, Since everything was quiet it wasn't that hard to hear it. And since Morse was still on the ground his attention wasn't as diverted as the others may have been
