Quinn immediately snatched several canteens off of people's belts and started dumping them all over Volgrand, the extreme base of water counteracting the acidity of whatever the alien had thrown. He snatched out some morphine and injected it into the man's leg, the 10cc's of painkiller running it's course and calming the man down.

"I need a medical team standing by at the hatch ASAP!" Quinn shouted above the cacophony of the rest of the platoon reacting. "Severe acid burns, I've treated with water to neutralize the acid! We also have hostile contacts!"

Quinn ripped the armor off the man along with his clothes. So far, the acid had yet to breach the armor, which was a good thing. But it had gotten all over his face, which was a bad thing. He kept pouring water on Volgrand's face. "You're going to be okay Volgrand. You'll be in a warm bed for most of the trip home. Hell, you'll be home before the rest of us I bet!"

When Ivanov was hit, Roberts fired off a burst at the retreating aliens, then ran forward and grabbed Ivanov, dragging him back, ignoring the shout of "grenade". He pulled him back to Quinn, and fell on his back. He sat up and said, "Quinn, what do you need?" as he pulled out his personal medkit and morphine. "Schmidt, cover us!"

Simovic picked himself up off the floor and dusted himself down, getting a better look at the object he realised the Xenomorph had thrown a knife at them, shit before long these things would be using guns!

Simovic looked on concerned as Quinn worked on Volgrand, First squad instantly had two men out of action.

"Roberts use your squad to move Volgrand to the airlock, i'm gonna attempt to get him medivac'd out of here"'

Simovic then clicked his comms to channel 3, the dropship. "Request immediate medivac, meet us at the airlock and have the synthetic prep an operating theatre on the Costaguana, patient has severe facial acid burns".

Simovic then moved up to the vents clicking his shoulder lamp on and his rifle at the ready started helping Second squad into the vents.

Dirk moved forward to the T intersection. Holding his hand up for the squad to stop, Dirk looked around the corner and used the motion tracker.

"Pour water on his face constantly." Quinn said calmly. "The water will stop the acid, but only if constantly poured on him. But we need to get him back to the ship so the med team can find the right chemical mix to completely neutralize the acid."

Quinn removed the morphine from Robert's pack and injected it into Volgrand's leg, taking the pain down again. "Don't give him any more morphine. Any more and his heart will stop."

Quinn folded out the stretcher and eased Volgrand onto it. "Corporal, we need to move now if this man is to retain his eyesight."

"Understood," Eric said as he moved to the front of the stretcher and picked one side up. The weight reminded him of his first mission, with the smartgun and the heavy backpack. "Lets move marines, we're not losing him."

"I reckon Dugan's got that covered, lets give command the update - odds are it may prove to be more important than the lives of soldiers."

A yellow-greenish smoke begins to pour out of the ventilation system, filling the air with noxious fumes. (24 hours to reply after 24 hours I will make die rolls for everyone.)

Upon seeing the gas seeping out of the vents, Tyler immediately yelled "GAS!!!" , informing his comrades of the impending danger. Judging by the color of the gas, Tyler assumed it was chlorine gas.

He immediately grabbed his respirator and pulled it on over his face.

Sixtus picked up the other end of Volgrand's stretcher and shouted "MOVE MOVE MOVE!!!" and the two men rushed down the hallway. "Schmidt! Get on point man!"

Bojan put his gas mask on as quickly as possible. The communication to base would have to wait. The marines were going up shit creek, and the boat had no paddles.

"Jacob, what's our ACTUAL objective. Is it only to find out what happened?"

OOC: I don't remember the actual mission, we need a place like we used to so we can always go back and check it.

Simovic grabed his respirator from one of his webbing pouches and pulled it on.

He then spoke into the dropships comms channel "Can you relay a message to command at Keystone station, we have encountered multiple hostile Xenormorph lifeforms, there is no sign of the space stations crew. Request updated orders".

[O.O.C we were sent here to retrieve the Xenomorph sample stolen from the U.S.S Deleware, however there was no contingency for what has happened, hopefully we can get some sort of clarification now].

"Gas masks! Now!" Dirk yelled as he put on his mask. Then checking to see if the men got their masks on. If they don't get their masks on fast enough he helps them.

Once they all had the masks on Dirk checked the motion tracker.

"Stay alert second. Lets keep moving" He said as he mover ferther into the shaft

"Sarge, this is second squad. We have encountered gas. Looks like someone knows we are here. We have on our masks and are moving on. We will keep you posted
