"That would be a little difficult since the alien blood is concentrated acid." Quinn muttered. He bent over the chestburster and looked it over. His eyes wandered over the spent shell casings and around the room at the impacts in the wall. "The militia here aren't using modern weaponry. Pulse rifles use caseless ammunition, same for our pistols. These weapons are almost ancient. Probably have a magazine capacity of thirty rounds for a rifle, maybe two-hundred for a SAW. As for the grating, there's also the possibility that it was a civilian trying to get away."

Quinn tapped the radio attached to his helmet. "Command, do we have maps for all the ventilation and maintenance hatchways available?"

Sergeant Simovic, We got movement down the hallway. Second is in position. Request permition to scout the noise." He said moving by Fox.

"Oohrah". Tyler made sure his pulse rifle was good to go. He held his weapon in one hand while he continued scanning the area with his motion tracker. He pointed the motion tracker in the direction that the noise had come from, hoping to see if anything was there.

Simovic spoke into his comms mic "Ok move up and check it out, First Squad be ready to engage if there is any resistance, Third squad countinue your sweep of the lab".

"Bojan, Honeysett that command message may have to wait for a minute, looks like we've got company".

Suddenly framed in the small room that the Marine's had entered, an alien appears, throwing first one object and than another at the first marine it could see. The glass containers struck the marine full in the face exploding spraying liquid all over his face and down the front of his uniform. Volgrand screamed in pain as the acid began to work its hideous magic on the marine. Tendrils of smoke leaked into the air from his frying flesh.
The alien spun around and raced down through the open ventilation shaft. Another alien launched a shiny metal object at the marines it bounced harmlessly on the ground as it to retreated down the ventilation shaft.

(OOC:I will try to draw up the ventilation shaft system today. Please be patient. LOL)

Dirk was just moving forward with his squad when the Xenos struck. He stood in shock as the alien threw the acid filled glass, hitting Volgrand in the face.

"Medic! Get a medic up here now!" Dirk shouted as he was fireing at the retreating aliens.Another alien launched a shiny metal object at the marines it bounced harmlessly on the ground as it to retreated down the ventilation shaft.

" Come on second! And stay away from that thing that fucker threw" Dirk said as he charged after the aliens.
Getting to the ventilation shaft, Dirk shot into the shaft to clear anything that could be waiting inside.

"Sergeant Simovic, request permition to follow and kill the xenos. We need to get them before they get too far into the shafts to find" Dirk shouted into the comm

Fox caught on the corner of his eye, when he was peaking out the doorway, that a container flew across the room. Fox bounced to into hallway throwing his back towards the wall. He peeked to see what was going on, is heart was racing up and down as he looked around the room, but all he saw different in the room was a shiny object on the floor. He pulled his head back and glanced in front of him. he calmed down for a minute as he lit a smoke up.

He pulled himself back down to earth more with every heavy drag he took. Fox glared around to make sure he was in the clear. Fox began to think about how that attack happened. There viciousness is endless. No humanity in these creatures. All they can do is reproduce and kill.

Fox scouted around with his smartgun lens to make sure there is no creatures nearby.

"Dirk, how is it looking in there?" The com rattled a little with fox's voice.

Simovic witnessed the first Xenomporph throwing the acid vials, shit maybe what Tyler was saying was true, they'd made them even smarter!! He then noticed the second Xenomorph throw another object, his first thought was that it could be an explosive. He shouted into all channels on his mic "Grenade move!".

He couldn't be sure what it was so he didn't want anyone getting blown up through ignorance.

Dirk slowly leaned his upped torso onto the vent, keeping his pulse rifle ready to fire. Shining his light around he saw no trace of the xenos.

" Sarg, approximately five feet down the line it has a right turn but it continues straight ahead. So those fuckers could have gone either way. Recomend that first comes up and we split up. First takes one way second takes the other. Using motion trackers we find and kill the two or move them back to you and third. Awaiting instructions"

Tyler looked back at the guy hit by the acid. Christ, these PRS alliance guys actually managed to make the xenomorphs smarter!
