Not that I don't like your ideas and I am willing to roll with them but!
The enemy ship's crew outnumbers you around 20:1. For a size comparison think Firefly and the Rodger Young from Starship Troopers. Here is a website that you can use to get visuals: www.merzo.net.
Keep up the good work!

Trying to see if we can get our air turned on first. If all else fails, I have an ultimate back-up plan.

Also you have standard vacuum suits just not combat rated suits.

Escape pods are the worst idea we can use right now. If they were able to get a shot on us while we were in the high speed assault craft, the escape pods are going to be easy targets for them.

They will not want witnesses or survivors.....

Unless this is the first step in a really elaborate Shanghai drafting

actually, i just thought of something, could we hide in the escape pods, but not launch them, then go trojan horse on the bastards once we get to wherever they're going?

I like the way you think LT 8)

I asked Pale Rider and this is his exact response:

"There are nukes but no way to fire them and last time I checked Pope is probably the only one qualified to handle them."

Not going to fire them, as the radar to guide the missile is out of action. But if we can circumvent the safeties and set it to detonate on a timer...

If we hopped into the APC, and got it out of the cargo bay, we'd have air and supplies for 3 days.... plenty of time for the people at the base nearby to come and grab us. Plus itd be our best source of protection from the blast itself. - I'm sure we can get a beacon set up for rescue.
