Even though Morrison had been talking to Erika when he mentioned watcheing the left, He shifted the way he was facing in that direction.

He saw a lot of people pullin down their IR sight. He wasnt really gonna use it, but it might be a good idea.

Sir im gonna hang here to watch Erika's flanks in the mean time, if thats not a problem

Ward turned around and brought his Pulse Rifle to bear, aiming it down the open doorway.

"Pitt, who has point?" Ward inquired.

Ward flashed his shoulder lamp down the corridor as well, hoping to better illuminate the surrounding area. He felt as if something was in there. He may have been itching for some action, but he was not stupid. Ward moved up to Pitt's position to whisper something to him.

(roll sense danger and shoulder lamp to illuminate the area inside room)

"Aye Sir" answered Erika to the Lt with a little voice... she was really disgusted.

As soon as the door opened, Erika started covering the people at the entrance of the tunnel, still checkin on the left hand side as the Lt told her.

She was glad that Morse was with her. She will offer him a beer once back.

Simovic heard his reply, he also believed this to be the case but it wasn't USCM practice to leave even the dead behind. Anyhow Dirk had other ideas and was still leading the platoon onwards into engineering, exactly where Bojan had located the MIA's PDT signals.

"First Squad move up to the door behind second. Roberts you watch the right flank I'll cover the left, Quinn keep your eyes on the ceiling and your tracker"

He had the feeling things were going to become VERY hectic, fast. He only hoped he was wrong.

Fox hated getting ignored. It was a simple yes or no question. He was getting ready to brush passed Dirk and stepped in through the door. He flipped his IR lens down from his headset. Anxiety was building up in fox. He was in no mood, even if he did come face to face with an xenomorph, the rage was starting to control him. He clicked on his shoulder lamp. Fox scouted around in the area because he got the feeling that Dirk was to worried about his love life with Erika to be focused on the mission. He slipped the clip that Erik had gave him into his rifle.

He closed his eyes tightly for a second as the flare clashed with his straining vision, then opened them again and stared intently through the door for any sign of movement, his rifle at the ready.

Schrodder had another FNG moment. When Dirk threw the flare into the room, he didnt close his eyes. This is always how he imagined being flash banged would be like, minus the extremely loud noise. The sudden light burned his eyes with that dull pain you get from being dumb enough to look into a flash light or.... the sun for too long. Lucky for him though, when he closed his eyes the image of the room with a bright flash was burned into his eyes for a few seconds. [/b]

He was scared. Sergeant said something about MIAs and the half japanese guy said something about 'cockroaches'.

The moment the doors opened into the first level of the Engine rooms, the xenos began to stalk toward the source of the disturbance. The Queen's gutteral cry of anger could be heard as well as felt as it vibrated through the metal flooring. First one, then two, then all the motion trackers' began to squeal as they began to detect the presence of a movement. Fox's smartgun began to dance in his hands as the aiming mechanism pranced from one target to the next unable to get a solid lock. The flare's guttering light caused distorted shadows to dance across the walls and ceiling the shadows grew larger as the indistinct shapes seemed to grow out of the walls and floors. A dark, resinous looking substance coated the walls and a steamy fog reflected the flare's light ominously.

All the motion trackers were going off. Tyler looked down at his. He was in disbelief at what he saw.

"MOVEMENT! Fuck, I can't lock in, they're all around us!!!"
