Giosso looked over the building, trying to see how the building was constructed in his mind. Thinking back to the scattered readings and lessons he'd had on standard corporate construction.
"There should be a central switch and electrical panel - If I could get to it, it's possible I could get at least some of the system running again. Or at least see why they went down."

"I can tell you now, just by the sounds, they're with the grow," Gideon says through gritted teeth. He protectively holds his left hand on close to his chest, and everyone can see the skin is gone in several places. His skin looks more akin to swiss cheese laid over his left hand and wrist. "They're nervous creatures and can tell when something is wrong. Think of a cow with the brain of a pig.
"I can't hold the Smartgun. Quinn confirmed it, like I couldn't tell. I say we burn the whole building down, starting with the exits. I'd rather burn a thousand grow before walking into a confined space with these things. Someone pass me something useful," he says as he stows his pistol.

Shaking his head at the situation, Soles quickly slips on the rebreather and steps forward, his HK VP70 in hand and a pulse rifle slung across his back.Quicksilver wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 2:41 am “On it, Sir.” Giosso said. With a practiced motion, he holstered his shotgun into the scabbard secured to the side of his backpack to free his hands and accessed the small tablet trapped to his forearm. He taped out a few commands, then after a pause, a few more.
“No-Go, Sir.” He said with a tone that indicated he had not expected much different. “No wireless signal off any of these or a master controller. Could be the wires cut, or they lost power. Or they just got turned off. These civilian surveillance models don’t come with a lot of redundancy.”
"Alright Marines, when we open the door we will stagger step in with each squad covering the other. Squad 1 will enter first and setup a defensive perimeter. Squad 2 will move in beyond one when they call clear. We will comtinue this way until.either we reach the other side or we meet resistance.
Morse, grab the other side and on my msrk we open the doors."
Soles withdraws his hand torch and cuts through chain, the metal dropping with a loud clank.
He waits for Morse to get into place and begins the count down.
"3...2...1"
He slides his door back on it's track.

Paulson moved up with squad one ready to breach, rebreather in place, pulse rifle at the ready.
The motion tracker sat on a strap round his neck and shoulder in position for easy referance.
The countsown commenced and his heart rate raised as the numbers descended. the door slid open and paulson went in turning immediatly left along the wall moved in a little to give squad two room and formed up deffensively gun up head and eyes scanning for anything
<roll perception>
only when and if it seemed imediately clear was he going to risk dropping his eyesight down to perform a quick motion scan.
