Turn 10: Things Get Worse!

"Ya'll outside! Now! Move!"
Morse began hustling the civilians out of the saloon-style doors of the bar while, at the same time, signalling to Kelly and McKenna to take positions covering the door to the Back-stage area. As soon as he had all the civvies lined up with their legs spread and their hands against the wall he handed them off to Paulson, who had just arrived from the side alley with another prisoner, and headed back inside to back up his men.
Harper and Henniger remained huddled over the glowing screen of the UAV's Remote Control Console, watching was happening in the room via infrared. Syke's voice reached them over his open mic.
"Listen, you guys are Marines and so I know you aren't dumb enough to point those guns at my platoon. But seriously, you can trust our medics. McKenna and Davros are good guys, though Davros might talk your ear off. We've fought the xenomorphs more times than I can count. We all fucking hate them and if Wey-Yu did something to you guys, we are siding with you. Your buddy isn't going to make it to a medic you can trust, so you need to trust me."
He seemed to be doing a good job of de-escalating the situation but if even on of the fugitive marines in there was infected with a xenomorph then the clock was ticking.
At the rear entrance, 2nd squad were checking out the numerous closed doors around them. Hall had just finished clearing the office as Davros moved to check on the figure in the toilet stall. From several paces away the medic could tell something was badly wrong. He could smell the familiar odor of blood and evacuated bowels. A pace closer and it was clear the figure was a woman, and she was dead. Her blood coated the floor and back wall of the stall and filled the toilet bowl.
Carefully, Davros turned the body over. The woman was wearing the uniform of a marine, sans armour and unit patches. Her face was frozen in a rictus of agony and horror and a fist-sized hole gaped in her chest, the ribs splayed outwards as if something had punched its way out from inside!
