Squadron Designation

Morning folks. Do we have a name for the dropship or Squadron designation? I don't want to go the easy route in referencing..oh you know, heh

We usually don't have a name for the dropship squadron, because they're usually NPCs of some kind and have an "out of sight, out of mind" thing going on.

The platoon have been named Delta Dogs, Byrons Banditz and Easy Eights before.

I'm sure it's not a big deal; but I did notice that you made your character a 2nd Looie; which is fine; but wanted to let you know that per the movie cannon; Ferro and Spunkmeyer were a CPL and a PVT respectively; so there definitely is precedent for Enlisted (and junior enlisted at that) Flight Crew for Dropships.

I only mention this due to something I long ago noticed; a seemingly universal sense of applying modern-day Military practice towards games set in future sci-fi genres!

I went and dug up some of my old stuff from the dark ages and found the following designations or call signs and posted them with the rosters. We can use or not it doesn't really matter. I also added one for the dropship since we never used them before.

Command Squad: Call Shots
Dropship: Jump Shots
Scout Squad: Trick Shots
1st Squad: Break Shots
2nd Squad: Dead Shots
