Hey Nick, I updated my sheet from the last round of skill learning (unless you're keeping a master copy), so SixtusQuinn2 is now obsolete.

Speaking of sheet updates. I'm trying to get my skills moved around so that I can use a smart gun next missions since we've been lacking one for a long time.

I sent a Pm off to nick already with the plan.

I want to move Strength up to 16, and to do it drop the Will down to 10 (since he's been wounded seriously twice in relatively quick succession and they've been getting their asses kicked), and also lower agility to 15. That'll make using the smartgun possible - and I think it makes sense in character.

I might opt out for a Shotty or SMG instead of the pulse rifle-is that possible?

Perfectly fine by me. But you can't carry two weapons and use them effectively. In the rule set we're using, your combat capability drops with additional equipment that you carry over your "combat load" weight.

A single pulse-rifle is fine, but if you want to trade it out for a shotgun or SMG, by all means do so. Just not two at a time. You'll put holes in our ceiling otherwise. ;D

Also, your official nickname from henceforth is Rambo.

Hahaha-you are so funny-you know that quinn?

Ah well-I was a big fan of duel wielding in D&D-twin hammers baby!

But about the pulse rifle thing-I had a strength of 18-so I figured try and use two at once. SMG's might be less of a problem.

SMGs I could see, but the successive recoil will still pitch your accuracy into a black hole. But with that strength, heft a flamer around. They're heavier than the Pulse Rifle.

Dual wielding may look cool - But its horribly impractical! I have tried it IRL and if you can avoid shooting yourself and your buddy you still have to reload. Never mind carrying TWO weapons. (even the nimble MP5A4 in which I am trained, is cumbersome to carry in heavy ballistic armor).

Sorry but no fan of dual wielding here :)

Clumsy but doable, it will be extremely heavy. No recoil though. But if you are talking MP5 it virtually have no recoil, in part thanks to its delayed blowback roller locked mechanism.
