I have filled out the join form and I believe I followed the procedure correctly, but I can't do the final step. I try and post in the Mess Hall but I don't have the ability to Post Reply. There was another having the same issue and his name was Shadowtech. Help in this area would be appreciated as it seems i've done everything correctly, thanks!

What problem do you have?

Just upload the form using the character section.

Access to mess hall and campaign will come when your character is approved.

That's what it is then, I was trying to Post Reply in the Mess Hall and in reading the Players Guide it made it sound like I would be able to post right away..if I am waiting for approval then that is the issue. Thanks Ser!

P.S. I had some equipment listed in parenthesis, and so you know I was going for a Combat Engineer type and had some ideas on weapons..but of course that is character concept ideas. Just wanted you to know for approval purposes.

Your equipment is generally issued to you based on your skill set. If your Special Weapons skill is higher than your Gun Combat, then you are most likely going to be issued a flamethrower. This also highly depends on how much weight your character can carry. Previously, my character carried a pulse rifle with him. But when we switched to this system, I had to trade it out for a flamethrower and shotgun.

So Strength is a attribute to keep in mind.

I had an inkling that my first attempt would be a failure..as far as loadouts I have the standard fair..I just put down weapons/equipment for character concept in parens. I saw the info in the guide regarding adding non spec equipment, so I didn't add it, I kind of just made notes as to where I wanted to go with the toon. If that works, great, if not i'm fine with whatever you feel is the way to go. Thanks for the feedback.

It's generally safe to assume that your character is usually issed with a Pulse Rifle if your Gun Combat is higher than the rest. If your Special Weapons is higher than your Gun Combat, take a Flamethrower. If your Machine Gun is higher, you have a Smartgun.

And your sidearm is the VP-70.
