I watched Aliens vs Predator Requiem the other day, the least said about that the better!

They are still good action sci fi movies to pass the time though!

Aliens - at least the special edition, kicks the entire series ass...well, execpt perhaps for the original Alien.

As for AVP - as a sci-fi action movie, yes they are good. As a representation of the Aliens/Predator franchises - well, I don't want to say my TRUE opinion(as the content would probably get me suspended or banned for excessive "harsh language"), so let's just say they could have been better.

I still like the fact with the AVP movies that you can be dowing half a bottle of scotch and still be amazed that you can understand what is going on.

The first one was pretty good - storyline was okay, you gave a stuff about the characters, but Reqium was nothing but a teen horror flick. I can't forgive that.

Agreed - Even Freddy Vs Jason had boobs to stare at. AND it was still a teen horror flick despite the comedy via Freddy's perverted mind("How sweet - DARK MEAT!") LOL I can't think of a better example among Freddy's one liners in FVJ.

On a serious note though - Fox should have realized that Predators in modern day is terrifying. Add in Aliens to that recipe and you got fanboy horror, critics anger and franchise-killing probability.

You want TRUE AVP? Alien vs Predator vs Ripley and Dutch(Predator 1) - nuff said. They have both kicked one species' ass, why not give them a second?(technically a third for Ripley, if you count the Newborn from Alien Resurrection as a seperate species)
