I have finished the upload script for characters so character creation should now again be possible.

Sorry for the delay but the deadly mix of much to do at work with a large forum overhaul didn't mix very well I'm afraid - But things should work again now.

The next step is to start converting the old characters over from the roster - I have started the work but would like some help with it.

I've an idea. Nick if you put a link to the old character sheets here people can upload their own using the stats. Then one of us can check them and adjust them if neccessary, does this sound any good?




BTW I noticed eyeball has uploaded his character and I've just checked it, one thing I wanted to point out is that there is no need to add weight for ammunition as its included in the weight of your light armour and fatigues. You've actually got your equipment harness attached to the light armour which has a number of utility/ ammunition pouches and attachements for carrying miscellaneous items such as grenades, flares and a medical kit.

Nick its up to you whether you allow people to carry the latter of these items or just the ammunition and suffer no weight penalty.

To be fair it isn't that clear in the rule book, but if it wasn't included characters wouldn't even be able to carry a packed lunch without being over-encumbered.

So do you want as to complete another character application for out existing character?

Yes but Nick will first need to post a link to our old characters so you know the stats.

Checked him the only problem is that you can only have Light armor at the moment, plus demoltions have to be issued to you, you don't get them as basic kit.

I'm re-doing the roster and i've removed players who are no longer active. We are now back to three rifle squads and the command squad. Presently there are three vacancies in Pitts squad. So any new players let me know here if you want to joing, but first upload a character.

Also i've added Pants and Altair to the roster.

Can we make the new roster in the roster thread in the campaign you think? Perhaps with clickable URLs to the PDFs as they become available?

Something like

A.Nonymous - Squadleader
A.Nonymous - Machinegunner
A.Nonymous - Rifleman
A.Nonymous - Medic

Okay; I've uploaded Sam Hall's stats. I have a couple of questions about the roster though...

1. Is everyone listed on it still here....as in....are they NPCs (if the players have moved on for example?)

2. Partly why I'm asking is because the Support Squad that my character is in is composed of only 3 people....Erika, Chris Sheppard and myself. Neither Erika or Chris has posted in quite some time....are their characters considered to still be there in the game?

The support squad no longer exists you have been moved to 3rd squad now. Here is a current version of the new roster, with only two slots available.

Just assume that if new players join they have been there all along but have been very quiet.


To check the roster goto the upload section of the site and download the New Roster file.
