I love the pic/map you guys do. That really helps to get orientated.

The only thing that is confusing to me is that "is each post supposed to be equal to a turn?"

Or can we post more or do we have to wait until someone talks or tags us?

I think you are always doing a Great Job Nick. I like reading your mission start briefs. I look forward to reading everyone's posts.

And Dugan is right the USMC is always getting the junk and cast offs of the Army/Navy stuff.
They have a very small budget compared to either other service as they are a Dept of the Navy and are alloted a budget from the Navy.
Is the USCM a Dept of the Space Navy? Or have they been finally made their own major Service with their own budget? This would allow them to develop their own weapons and stuff. During Desert Storm we got a big box with the first set of "chocolate chip" 'utes I got which had US Navy stamped on the pocket and they were used and not even washed.

I'm going to reread all the links Dugan posted and try to get squared away.

The Corps is still under the Dept. of the Navy. As the Marines have said on several occasions, "If you want good supplies, join the Army. Marines make do."

After som consideration...

Morse and Private I will start a boot camp section - I would like to see some plans on how You want to lay it out. I am giving You somewhat free hands on everything, with my right to veto if it is way out west.  ;)

Shoot.

Hi all,

Just wondering how exactly a boot camp works?  Is it out of the Campaign?

Cheers

Boot camp is a prelude to every thing which occurs before the campaign. However one thing which happened before is when people actually got picked who were in bootcamp they simply stopped posting in bootcamp and only posted in the campaign. So the GM has to be very clever with the timings of bootcamp and have it end when the campaign does or when new recruits get brought into the campaign.

Yeah in some aspects it is much harder to be gm over boot camp - You are much more restricted than in the campaign and you have to synch it.

If Morse and Private are interested we can set it up and try it..

I'd need you to have a roster of people that are in the bootcamp for me though.

Yeah.

1) We will add that to the current roster under a new section.

or...

2) We will give the bootcamp their whole own section on the homepage with the roster there.
