Re: Hi
Welcome to the site Ana, having a dedicated pilot would probably be a good thing.

Re: Hi
Hello Ana, and welcome to USCMRPG! I am the current Game Master, so feel free to direct any questions at me. We would be more than happy to have an actual pilot for once. I believe we had someone play the pilot briefly some six years ago or something. If you try it out and don't have any fun with it, we can always switch you to infantry grunt. But I'm sure I can dream up a few dangerous situations to throw at you
To get you started, I will make a new topic in the mess hall. This way you can get a little bit of practice with posting before throwing you into the actual campaign. Luckily, if you want to be a pilot there will be practically no wait time to joining the campaign as our pilots have not been named at this point.
I have a few questions for you.
1. How did you find the site?
2. What do you find interesting about the site? Aka why did you decide to join.
As I said, I love answering questions about the site so don't hesitate to hit me with both barrels! Happy to have you with us.

Re: Hi
Thank you for the greetings medic guy and corporal hicks. To answer some of your questions, I found the site after googling aliens and colonial marines stuff. I have not done roleplaying before but do enjoy writing and enjoy a lot of science fiction shows like firefly, aliens, predator, starship troopers, defiance, star wars, and others. I will try out some of the roleplaying and see how I like it. It will be different to work with other writers on a story. If I like it I have several friends that may also want to join in.
Remember I'm a new pilot so don't make things too tough for me.

Re: Hi
I'm sure it's all carefully cataloged somewhere, but for our intents and purposes the dropship has i believe a gattling gun, and around 50 or so missiles. You should have been with us when we had the Snakefighter! That thing could really do some damage. Morse and his crew drove a buggy off a cliff and into the hangar of the ship in mid-air, at the cost of great injury to everyone involved.
We want you and all your friends to join! There are a few tips about posting in this section, should be pinned to the top I think. Also, let me know when your character is created so we can approve it and get you into the game.

Re: Hi
Random, but I could run a Co-Pilot NPC. When I first joined I wanted to be the pilot myself, but there wasn't really a call for it. It's an itch I could finally get slated after 8 years.

Re: Hi
Ana, the character looks great! I know I asked elsewhere, but would you rather be the pilot or co-pilot? I will go ahead and make you a player so you can post in the game. You should go ahead and read the latest turn to get caught up. I can fill you in on the rest of the campaign over a message or something.
Morse, I think I remember that.
Now we just need someone to play a synthetic

Re: Hi
Pope, our synthetic, is on the dropship. Also Roberts is there, half conscious. An NPC called Leon Mercy is there too with a bullet in the arm. The APC is still in the ship's hangar. I suppose they are probably all in the APC.
Great first post Ana, really top rate!

Re: Hi
I went ahead and ran for the Co-Pilot bid. I know it's like to be the pilot on a site and to be left hanging by the ground people, so I'll be more then happy to double with the cockpit drama. And no.... this is not consent to kill off Morse for the hell of it.... I'll have him march till the end of time if possible.

Re: Hi
An APC driver and a Pilot. Pope's not gonna have much work to do soon. Anyway, hey. Can't say I've ever seen a focus on just driving. Hopefully we put you to use, because Morse is running out of limbs and armor could be useful.
