The only thing coming to my mind is some-kind of 'Wendigo' or 'Lycanthrope' change; but the one is about being cursed for cannibalism and the other is usually about being bitten.

I've only got regular ammo so if I have to use my gun we are going to be dealing with a lot of rapidly cooling bodies very shortly because my hand to hand isn't the best.

Anybody got any idea about what it is we are dealing with? It sounds like Roberts is hallucinating, but the other squad members have definitely changed into something.
