Marcus, I'm surprised you didn't ask for special weapons skill after the last campaign. Flamethrowers seem to be Boothe's all-consuming desire.

Can't really blame a fella (Boothe) for wanting a flamer, I wouldn't mind getting one myself. Actual question about the sentry guns:

1) Do they have a limit on their upper and lower fields of fire vertically? It seems like one just got activated and I'm thinking up in a may be out of it's range of either sensors or angle of fire on the tripod mount.
2) It seems from the manual that they can be restricted to certain types and sizes of targets. My thoughts were either trying to chuck some flaming pine cones across it's field of view or knock a tree down on top of it or blocking it's field of fire. (entrenching tool and a few frags might do the trick)

Since everybody's talking about where they're from, I'm currently in the Virginia mountains but was originally from upstate South Carolina. Just got finished reading yall's current campaign last night, and enjoyed it a lot. What campaign was the gateway station and president rescue situations from?

I have level 1 in flamer, since my last upgrade.

That doesn't seem like I'd get a qualifier for a mission.

That's why I'm RP''ing all this 'reading the manual' stuff. So I can 'test' into being proficient with it.

As for origins, I'm a Texan and proud of that... Might be why I like Morse's swagger so much.

Sentry guns pointed at us is.....bad. Now I wish I had that rocket launcher. Might get fancy with large rocks and explosives... Or tall trees and the same... Anyone got ideas?

Either we can try to blow up the sentries or Pale Rider wants us to surrender to these guys. That's my two cents.

Medic Guy: I think Gateway Station is from "Alarm! Containment Breach!" under Standalone Missions. I think the President scenario is from one of the Standalone Missions as well.

If you want to know more about some of this stuff it's probably easier to navigate the wiki, although it is fairly new and incomplete. http://www.runningwhisky.com/USCMWiki/

Also I read your story, its pretty good.

Hicks,

Appreciate the review, I'll have to check out the wiki again now that I am slightly familiar with the characters

Hey PR, did you mean .50 cal on those guns? Because a 50mm is an anti- tank cannon-sized shell.

If that was intentional, then well done, we are solidly in the shit.

Can't wait for Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged. Taka is Cloud, Stamper is Barrett. And they're doing the 'let's make the whole thing THEN release it sort of deal.'
