Odds are I'm going to put Pope up next, and I'm debating whether or not I'll put Morse up..... since it's obvious having him there helps literally no one in the platoon..... as his bad habits and dismal insubordinate habits will probably lead to both him and Quinn going down.

(Plus it's easier to post for them.)

Also, I think we're missing the charge of "Conduct Unbecoming". Although honestly, that's tossed on most large military cases.

((OOC: Great post, Morse! Great back and forth and lots of info.

Three things everyone should know:

1) I have antibiotic ointment in my eyes to kill an infection. My vision is blurry enough that I can't drive much less see reliably enough to type with glasses on. I'm a touch typist but still, I have my limits.

2) While Morse was free to write Richmond's responses as he pleased because Richmond was his NPC, I do not have the same freedom with Richmond when I cross examine him. In the interest of making the posts move more efficiently, I need to PM Morse as to the back-and-forth with his NPC. [Edit: Case in point about my eyes--the name isn't Richmond, it's Randal.]

3) I need a technical clarification on something Pale Rider wrote.

Please hold while I PM Pale Rider and Morse. Thank you!))

((Update: Points discussed with the parties concerned, way is clear to proceed. THAT SAID: I must warn you I may not be able to get everything posted very quickly today. RL is yanking me into AFK duties and it might be late before I can actually write anything, much less post it afterward. By 6PM tomorrow is my deadline. I hope to post prior, but I feel it's only fair to warn everyone it might actually take me that long to post.

I'm sorry. I didn't intend to get this eye infection but it's my EYES. They haven't made a bionic replacement for those yet so they have to take the front seat in priority.

Rest assured I will post when I can and I WILL NOT post some half-assed job. Quinn's butt is on the line. He won't get anything but my best effort.))

This isn't really a court game, so we're bound to make some mistakes. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Also, if anyone wants to interview Roberts, I would be happy to oblige! For the sake of time, I suggest doing anything like that over facebook messenger, or any other kind of instant messenger.

I fear that if the court case goes too long, we might lose some of our loyal people.

Trial serves two purposes:
1. Fun
2. Establishes the Eights as being in the doghouse with certain higher ups.

That being said it should be kept short.

I'm assuming Pope was either the pilot or on the dropship and not mentioned during "Become Death", as he was around for the mission just prior, every mission after it, and of course it is standard operating requirement to have one.

- I will note I don't want this to go on 'too' much longer, since I do feel that it neglects the others of the site substantially still.

AND I must alert everyone that it is Wednesday and I will be AFK until midnight for my weekly game. I will get to posting tomorrow morning, Eastern time.

I have a game *every* Wednesday. Twice a year my GM takes a break from it. Christmas is coming, so our his Christmas hiatus will be soon and I will have more time to post. There is a similar hiatus coming up in the summer. Otherwise, 430 pm onward on Wednesdays I'm booked.
