[Quinn]

Over the unit's radio, Quinn decided to put forth an idea of his own.

"Sarge, I don't think the Lieutenant is stable at the moment. She just pointed a gun at you during the thick of things. I don't think she's ever been in combat before. Just my opinion on that. However, we do have a Captain you can ask. He's with the Expeditionary Force, so you can reach him through their net."

"Don't worry Quinn I woudn't trust her to lead a dog on a leash. I mean our Lt, Jones".



[O.O.C Astroboys character is the platoons C.O]

"Affirm Sarge." Quinn said with relief leaking into his voice. "Sergeant, I need a dropship or two to be pried loose if some of these men are going to make it home alive. I have the first batch ready for medevac, and the second will be ready in five."

[Erika]

"Squad 2, hold the area, we will be the last to embark on the dropships. Quinn report on the injuried. What kind of help do you need?"
asked Erika in the Intercom
Erika kept checking for any eventual ennemy activities.

[S. Collins]

Collins had occupied one of the north-facing foxholes with his M56 and spent the evacuation preparation time observing the compound for intruding enemy forces. Hearing the screaming thunder of the howling dropship turbines, was a relief beyond imagination. Even though the combat took place for barely an half a hour only, Sean's nerves were tense and he really had enough action for today.

[Dirk Pitt]

(OOC..Ok..One mistake, One mistake...It was a long night. )

[Quinn]

"Squad 2, hold the area, we will be the last to embark on the dropships. Quinn report on the injuried. What kind of help do you need?"
asked Erika in the Intercom
Erika kept checking for any eventual ennemy activities.

"Negative Corporal, it's all being taken care of here." Quinn shot back on the comm. "Just do me and these men a favor, and make sure those dropships aren't punched full of holes."

[Erika]

"Roger Quinn" then after a pause Erika added "2nd Squad, everybody is counting upon us to go home"

[Dirk Pitt]

Dirk lit a cigaret and looked at the unfolding events. Things were starting to look like they just might make it

"4th Squad on me. Lets get ready for contact, or to get the hell out of here." Dirk shouted to his squad

[Tyler Ishizawa]

Tyler waited, resting behind the walls of the ruined building. He sat relaxed, knowing that if another firefight broke out, he wouldn't be getting rest for awhile. He took his canteen and took a drink from it, the cool water was refreshing. Just then the explosions began.

"Oh shit!", he yelled as he hit the dirt, holding down his helmet with his hand and expecting mortars to explode around him. Rather, the hills where the rebels had fled to, erupted in flames and explosions. Looking confused, he got back up to a crouched position, looking around at who had fired at the rebels. Then, he spotted the firer. Friendly dropships.

Tyler got back up, looking around at 3rd squad.

"Um, yeah.... none of you just saw that there"
