Potential for crossovers

Not sure how much interest there would be for this, but is there anyone that would want to do a bit of a crossover with some other alien/sci-fi, horror, or political/corporate intrigue work. Maybe not a full campaign or anything but just a mission.

Some of the things that come to mind for me would be:
Stephen King's - The Mist (movie or book, not the TV series
Blade Runner (android rebellion) perhaps like the BBC show Humans for those that have watched it or westworld.
the abyss
John Wyndham's day/night of the triffids
James Corey's The expanse
Predator
Ghost in the shell
firefly
I robot
Enemy of the state
space above and beyond (old fox tv show)
terminator
total recall
Starship troopers - yes i know the movie is cheesy
Xcom (chryssalids are sort of a mix of the xenomorph and the starship trooper regular bug (black and yellow kind)
Altered carbon
Strikeback, Jack Ryan, Person of interest, salt (all terrorism, coporate/political intrigue, big government)
some episodes of black mirror could potentially fall into this category as well.
Battleship, Pitch black/chronicles of riddick, the thing - don't know if we would want to compete with other sentient lifeforms or not

Some of these are beyond our tech level, some below and some kind of tie in with the alien universe already. Feel free to shoot down or bump up as you see fit. Or if you don't see something that you think should be included feel free to add it in your reply.

It all sounds pretty cool. I'm not sure about a full crossover in the main campaign though. I feel like adding predators or something is a thing we can't easily take back. I am all for drawing ideas from other settings though, which I do regularly. I pulled all the creatures in the Nembus Campaign from real prehistoric creatures (somewhat altered). I have also read upwards of 50 Napoleonic War British Navy books in the last 2 years so a lot of that bleeds over into my campaigns as well. As for the current campaign, I won't give away the inspiration just yet.

If you are talking about running a mini-campaign on the side, I am 100% in favor of that. I would absolutely play whatever you come up with. However, I predict that you would get little or no participation from anyone else. If you want to do it than I say go for it but just expect it to fail. You could run it in the Mess Hall Section.

Most of the creatures are taken from “Walking With Beasts” a show about prehistoric animals
