Alien Isolation game.

What are your thoughts on the new Alien game, Isolation? I just read the latest Xbox mag and I am excited!

awesome game, until after the drone is jettisoned. It got very boring then.

The thrill of the game, at least for me, was the aspect of being hunted by the drone without a chance to kill that fucker. But after i blew the drone off station, i had this "Job done" Klick in my head and motivation to play diminished considerably.

Also, imo after you get used to evade your enemies, the game gets too easy.

finally, i played it through, but as i said before, after jetisonning the drone it was never the same "feeling".
But, all in all, a GREAT game and very different to anything i ever played before.

Weird feeling to NOT have a pulse rifle/smartgun and shoot the xeno horde. You have to hide, sneak, evade and PRAY. There are two interesting DLCs: "Crew Expandable" and "Last Survivor", both settings from the original "Aliens" movie.

In "Crew Expendable" you can choose between playing Parker, Dallas or Ripley, after the drone killed Brett, and your mission is to seal off all vents of the nostromo, drive the drone into the airlock and flush it. Guess who twarts that plan?

In "Last Survivor" you are Ripley and the drone just finished off Lampert and Parker and your job is to activate the self-destruction sequence and escapte to the Narcissus with Jonesey. Guess who is hunting you?

Sounds pretty fun. I think I'll stick to my pulse rifle though!
