Disregard my last post as I just got the link to work and read the article! I have to say that I agree with it, the Aliens Universe, books, comics, games is all dominated by strong female characters. When I think "Aliens" I picture that image of Sigorney Weaver standing strong with a Pulse Rifle in one hand and a child in the other and should be reflected in the game. If memory serves, none of the previous Aliens V Predator titles had the option to play as a female marine character. Comparing it to other games such as Mass Effect (yes I realise it is an RPG) and Halo, I like the fact that you can have the option to create either a male or female character.

There is nothing quite like your female character kicking a female enemy's backside with a witty one liner. Plus we all love a bit of girl on girl action.
