Veteran's Day

Not sure if you non-U.S. peeps have something like this. But basically we give thanks to veterans of our military and those currently serving. I'm one of the few that is thankful of veterans for a matter of course on a normal basis.

And we have a little saying here in the states (bumper sticker actually). "If you can read this, thank a teacher. Since it's in english, thank a veteran."

Yeah we have the same in Ukraine and its on May 9 all former USSR countries celebrate in on that particular day.
