Yeah, I beat it. Total survivors: Gorman, Hudson (incapacitated) and Dietrich (wounded).

Beat it. Hicks, Dietrich, Gorman (wounded), Hudson (wounded), Apone (wounded), Burke (incapcitated), Drake (wounded), Ripley, Newt (incapcitated).... beat that!

Daaaaaaamn dude. So far, my best is with Gorman, Hicks, Dietrich, Ripley and Newt.

Proves I am a more compotent commander....
My first try, Only a wounded apone made it, then I was slaughtered in the second stage.
That was suckish.

Trick is in the second stage keep the door open and have Newt, Ripley and all the other two-action characters get out while either Apone or Hicks hold the door (combination of good fire and grenades works well). Around turn 20-22 the aliens stop spawning until turn 31. Then hold as long as you can, seal the door, and start running. By that time, Newt should have removed all the obstacles out of the way. I got the whole platoon out that way unharmed.
Then I got slaughtered in the next by stumbling across the alien queen. Took her ass with me though.

As for my own score...
9 people made it to the third mission, and it would only let 8 of them in. (I left the third flamer person out.)

Yeah, not easy for a new guy to know that though. I changed Your avatar Anubis...You can select a new one if You want - as long as it is now used by a vet player.
