World Space Week

World Space Week 2008 begins this Saturday around the globe. Please ensure that your events are entered into the calendar beforehand at www.worldspaceweek.org/calendar.

If you haven't planned an event, it's not too late to do something small the week of October 4-10, such as giving a talk or showing a space film to students. If many people do this, it will significantly extend the geographic breadth of World Space Week, making it a stronger news story, and attracting greater media coverage of all the events.

Working together in this way, through the power of synchonization, we can reach society through the media with the exciting messages of space.
