Who could imagine that the masterminds behind the plot blunders of borderlands 1 and Duke Nuke Em forever would fall so hard.

In terms of future games, there will be more. More because AVP was wildly successful and actually good, and Sega still owns the rights. They would just need to choose a better development studio. Gearbox lost a lot a bunch of employees over this, so they wont make that mistake again.

Personally I want.... this Aliens game which we are on now to continue to show us what we have... but for Colonial Marines, it was a waste of time that just hurt our series followers.

I had heard that Gearbox handed over the development to some other companies. So many bad decisions made by the company in regards to this game.

Has anyone else played the Stasis Interrupted missions? What does everyone think of how they explained CPL Hicks' presence?

Cheers

I am sensing a time travel paradox here. Next thing you know it will be a crossover with the crew of Deep Space Nine.

Better question.......... how did 'any' of the colony structure survive.................... better question........... how were there hundreds of Xeno's there?

But I think one of the characters in the game put it best

"Sir, the Sulaco was last reported seen over Fiorina 161, what's it doing here?"

And I think the writers let slip some of their own thought process with the line right after that.

"Who gives a s*$&, lets get to shooting cus people playing this game probably have never actually seen the aliens movies and won't care about details that will potentially f*$& the whole franchise."
------- thats a direct quote by the way.

The only explanation I can think of is from the Stasis Interrupted missions. They grab the crew and passengers off the civilian ship and returned them to LV 426 right away which allowed them to breed a Queen. While the rest of the passengers and crew stayed aboard the civilian ship and then some of those xenos boarded the Sulaco prior to the civilians ship destruction. Then WY Company directed the Sulaco to return to LV426. Oh look I have gone crossed eyed trying to put that in a logical sequence. :P

All being said and done, I am still enjoying the Bug Hunt mode of play.
