And Dirk, I think the idea has some merit, but would involve a LOT of work on the part of the mods.
And there's no way I'm joining another game like the one you showed without a damn good CSI by my side. And I know that Quicksilver doesn't have that sort of time.

Oh yeah, I remember that game.
For zombie game, could run a traditional unmodded RP. People just cycle-posting with everyone controling the zombie horde. Those types can bog down a little at times, but if everyone's reasonable about what they do they're fun and best of all, easy.
I'd be happy to add myself to the survivors list.
If people still want stats, could likely do a simpler, preferably dice-less stat system.

Dirk, you still playing in the one where I was Don Victor Pellicano? That game worked quite well. The only thing that you really needed a Mod for was to make certain when PC characters were involved in a storyline posted by another PC that involved them doing something they typically would not do then it was a no go.
Many moons ago Nick and I, were working on a thought about the Zombies were the result of a microorganism that was genetically manipulated to be used for Cancer patients, etc. The amoeba (For lack of a better term) was injected into the blood stream and then attacked the cancer cells. The twist was that it not only attacked the cancer cells it then took over the host and created a symbiotic life. The host would eventually be completely overtaken by the amoeba. The body would begin to break down and the amoeba would look for a new host to take over. Thus not your traditional voodoo or freak chemical accident resulting in the walking dead.
The thought concept would basically be a free form writing site. The initial startup would probably require some type of background story that would set the stage for the writing. It would require tight communication between participants since occasionally you would be co-writing together. We wouldn't even have to be in the same location. Some could be in the Southern United States, some in Mid-West, etc. or even in the UK or other European Countries.
If we wanted character stats(Which I don't think are necessary because there are no opposing rolls to be made) we could use Twilight 2000 because it provides plenty of Military and other information with ratings such as premium, etc.
An example of play would be something like this:
James sets up his base of operations.
Dirk's character sneaks into the location and attempts to steal from James.
I would post a counter, however, I can only use the previous information posted in my original setup of my base. I couldn't add 12 attack dogs, and a silent alarm if I had not mentioned having them originally.
Basically Dirk and I would have to come to an agreement that I either hinder him, or prevent him from completely cleaning me out. If we cannot do so then the Moderator or Moderators would step in read the posts and counter posts and make a decision based on what they have read.
i.e. who most thoroughly defended their point throughout the entire storyline or arc.
In this case the Zombies would primarily be the antagonists and other NPC type characters. This would allow everyone to write and participate and by having three-four moderators we could always have a quorum to vote on the writing.
Just my ten cents worth.
Thanks for listening,
Chuck

Ya.. He's a bit better. No real problems with him.
Kenny took us out. He was one of ours that took advantage of my computer being down and killed me.

Okay, I reapplied early as Victor Pellicano so we shall see what we see. I have not received an e-mail reply as of yet.
