Wow that's cool Nick. Do you mind if I ask you questions? You don't have to reply I know the internet can get you in trouble
:( .  I got my bank card numbers stolen last month but luckily my bank caught it with them only making 3 transactions. Anyways what type vehicles you had? How long ago did you serve?

I was US Marine from '87 to '95.

I served 98-99, as Sweden has mandatory military service for all male 18 and above. I was still a reservist until i became a cop, I was then transferred to the civil-defence.

The vehicles used by the Swedish mechanized infantry today is the Swedish built Stridsfordon 90. (Combat vehicle 90).

As for the cop thing, You can ask questions but I might not answer all of them.  ;D

Yeah that's a pretty amazing vehicle. I like the urban paint job on them. And all the different weapon systems all the way up to 120mm. The US needs a vehicle like that, with that adoptability.

In the late '90's I took a test to be a Service Support Officer (sounds kind of like what Dugan got offered). You have a Police uniform and everything but basically you are a gopher (Go for this or that). You take statements, measure stuff at crime scenes, pick up evidence and such grunt/foot work. And you get paid alot less. I was trying to get into the Armory as I was an Assisstant Duty Armorer in the Corps for almost 2 yrs, one of my many duties. But at the Police Department where I live they transfer disabled Cops into there if their not hurt that bad so they had no opening at the time. I did good on the test, was like second out of 50 or so people but they had a 5 year waiting list on the job entry. That's a long time to go without food or money. I took the Postal Exam and got a 95 on it and with my 5 Veteran points it brought it up to a 100. So I applied for some postal jobs. Got called back on one. They hired a chick that worked at the same place that I was working at, we were co-workers on the same line. I knew she had a 87% on her test because we had talked. So I went back to the Post Office that we both had applied at to find out why she got hired over me with me having the higher score. I was told that they had to hire her because she filled two of their government mandated quotas, she was a woman and a minority. That always seems to be my luck.
