Date: August 22, 2081
Time: 0300
Location: USS Costaguana, Keystone Way Station

Sunlight glistens off of two metallic shapes in the forward view screens of the USS Costaguana. Thirty minutes prior to arriving in system, the marines of the Easy Eight had been awakened. Each had gone through the standard Marine Corp awakening Process – S – S – S. Like clockwork the men had completed everything and had fallen out for inspection. Captain McCoy had departed the ship prior to their heading for Earth leaving Honeysett as the Senior Marine and Captain David Palmer was the senior officer on board the vessel.

As soon as the vessel enters the system an Alarm Sounds. A bland female voice, the ship’s computer, begins to speak over the Alarm:

Attention. Attention. The Control Center of Keystone Station is attempting to contact the Senior Marine Officer onboard.

The monitor springs to life a thin faced red head with the Keystone Way station company logo ball cap stares at the Easy Eights Command Team through the Monitor.

“Attention, this Operations Officer Hunter, by the orders of Captain McCoy, the Easy Eights are to Dock and report immediately to Deck 13B. You are to come fully geared and dressed in Biohazard uniforms by 0750.â€

Simovic upon hearing the orders from Keystone Way Station had broke out the Bio Hazard suits from the stores, many hadn't been used in years and he hoped the'd actually be able to contain whatever they were going to come in contact with. He'd also broke out the required weapons and made sure each squad was carrying a flame thrower issuing one to Schmitt, Tray Williams and Rose.

As the Marines made there way to Deck 13B there was a lot of talk as to what was going on, the Scientists and Technicians were keeping tight lipped and so they were pretty much in the dark. This made the men uneasy and a few were questioning whether this was going to be such an easy assignment after all. When they reached deck 13B Simovic had driven one of the APC's and parked it up near the hanger doors. W.O Honeysett came aboard the APC and together the two men monitored the situtuation.

"Honeysett this don't seem to be part of a routine ship inspection, whats going on here?".

Among the soldiers and scientist walked a man who clearly acted as their leader, he walked around, slapping people around, clearly he must been barking alot of the voice com, most importanly they had alot of equipment with them. Two of the men seemed to be fighting over a broken lamp, something the leader guy shakes his head about, heading over to them and starts to join in the fight.

"No, I hear you on that one...but don't act like this is anything other than routine for the time being...they'll relax if we don't seem wary - I shouldn't need to say that mentally I want you to be sharper than a knife to the situation!"

casting his eyes everywhere he could as they walked Jacob took in the surroundings, trying to assess the situation...

Jonsson shifted uncomfortably in his biohazard suit. It was hard not to appear wary when encased in plastic, especially with the grief it was causing between him and his equipment.

Waiting for orders, he began to inspect one of the flamethrowers. His rifle near-forgotten, a grin spread across his face as he thought of the effect the flame units would have. A part of him almost wished they'd run into trouble.

Dirk got into his Biohazard uniform quickly. What the hell happened this time he thought to him self. He then went to get his gear. Squadleader ment no more heavy smartgun. He wasn't upset about not having the big gun just not having the firepower.

He made his way to Deck 13B with the rest of the easy eights. Looking around he saw who he needed.

"Fox, Jonsson, Stay close. I'm not sure whats going on but I'll try to find out. Williams, This is your first op so stay alert and watch what Fox and Jonsson do. I'm going to see how Sgt. Simovic wants us to go in."

Dirk walked over to Dugan.

"The Deadshots are ready.. With Us going in just tell me where you want us and how you want us going in, because it looks like we are ready for a fight." He said hoping that he covered everything.

"Okey boys and girls! My name is Dr Ian Donaldson and its about time we get to work since some of us got a time limit to this mission. Inside this ship is about three to five people who gona need a check up, so I want all of you inside today, is this understood people? Go go go!"

The man sounded a bit mix of irritated, slapping another scientist and motioned people to get moving.

Dugan selected the Deadshots comm channel.

"Move in and cover the Scientists, listen to what they say, theres no telling what these people we're collecting have. You may as well get your squads motion tracker online see how many men your meeting".

He then switched off the comms and spoke to Jacob.

"That sound ok to you Honeysett?"

Bojan stood waiting. Biohazard was never good, nor were civilians. He just trusted in the skill of his marines.

"Honeysett, got a plan or is it just a standard sweep", asked Bojan over the comms

Jonsson silently acknowledged Dirk, then gave a nod to Williams when Dirk mentioned it being his first mission.

'Some of us? A biohazard leak wouldn't do anyone any good. He examined the man. Something seemed a bit strange about him. 'Must just be nerves. These ships never did me any good either, and a poison thing to boot. No good, no good at all.' He thought back to the time his home town had been evacuated due to a chemical spill. Not that it had much effect, he hadn't been anywhere near it at the time, but something about it had made the wolves near where he was hunting a bit desperate.
"Move in and cover the Scientists, listen to what they say, theres no telling what these people we're collecting have. You may as well get your squads motion tracker online see how many men your meeting".
Jonsson pulled out his motion tracker and clicked it on. He hadn't really ever liked these things, preferring to have both hands ready in case he needed his rifle.

Sixtus stood third in line of the first team. He always hated the feel of the biowarfare suits, but he'd also seen what bioweapons could do. And also knew the risks of these suits.

"Alright Marines, a friendly tip from your favorite medic." he commed the rest of the squad. "Be very careful in these suits. The slightest rip can pierce right through and render them useless. So watch your step and try not to get shot. Semper Fi."

Switching his radio to a different frequency, Quinn spoke again. "And to you civilians travelling with us on this little tour, stay behind the soldiers and don't do anything stupid. Being stupid gets you killed. We have weapons and armor. You do not. As such, we're better equipped to deal with any threats and take what they can dish out. You are not. We cannot protect you if you do not do what we say. Follow our orders and we all get to come back."

After making the small announcement, he checked his pulse rifle ammunition. Instead of the grenade rounds, he requested shotgun shells instead. Being in tight corridors and crawlspaces, they'd work a lot better than a grenade. Especially with a starship hull...

" Roger that Dugan. Deadshots are moving out"

Dirk turned to the Dead Shots.

"Ok guys, lets have a tatical dimond formation. I'll take point, Jonsson you got the motion tracker, take left. Fox You got the right. Williams watch our ass. Keep a 7 foot spaceing and stay alert."

"Dr. Donaldson, I'm Lance Corporal Dirk Pitt. The Dead Shots are moving in to secure the area. Stay behind us. Any information that you could give us would help"

Dirk moved forward into the next area

With that Dirk moved in

Eric nodded to Quinn. Normally it's not good when a PFC takes control in a situation, but having just received The Bronze Star, Quinn would have a little bit of leeway.

Then he switched his comm over to the officers frequency. “This is Lance Corporal Roberts, what are your orders for the Cue-Balls?â€

At the start, Sergei had some problems with the bio-chemical suit, but at last he managed to wear it right. He revised one last time all his weaponry -the smartgun- was ready, and answered his sergeant.
- SIR, YES SIR!

Then he looked at his friend Trevor
- How ya doing pal?

Jonsson nodded and moved into position. It was nice having orders that were a bit more specific again.

Jonsson caught site of Williams again, and something came back to his mind. Though it probably wouldn't be the case here, it probably wouldn't hurt to toss out a 'heads up.' Leaning over, he spoke in an undertone. "Not to distract you, man, but.. uh, keep an eye on the ceiling too, aye?"
