Sixtus looked at Jonsson and shrugged. "Catch you later."

He jogged towards SSgt. Bojan, slipping the scanner into it's pouch. He slid the pouch into his pack, and unslung his pulse rifle, shouldering the weapon. He checked the ammo count, seeing a solid 95 on the red counter. He checked the grenades in the launcher. Three frags in line.

When he walked behind SSgt. Bojan, he kept his weapon raised and off to one of the Sgt's side, finger on the trigger guard and not the trigger itself.

The orders just registered in Eric's head, and he walked over to Jonsson.

"I'm looking for some payback. I'm sick of this happening to me, and those pirates are gonna pay for it..." he hissed beneath his breath to Jonsson.

Simovic made sure First Squad moved up in pairs where possible Bojan with Pitt followed by himself and Quinn and finally Schmitt bringing up the rear.

Simovic leaned over to Quinn "You got any smoke grenades? If so deploy one now. Also get your Motion Tracker online".



Simovic then spoke over First Squad’s comm channel "Ok people switch to IR". With this Simovic flipped down his IR eyepiece, instantly turning the vision in his right eye to a myriad of blues and reds. He scanned over the squad red light emanating mainly from the heads and torsos of the marines then beyond them the bright orange of the ship was beginning to be visible behind piles of rubble and debris. There were also traces of gently glowing yellow specs to one side of the ship.... what was left of the unfortunate Pvt Gallagher.

Sixtus nodded, removing a smoke grenade from his harness. He flipped open one end, and pressed the cap twice.

"Smoke out." he whispered, and tossed it in front of the squad's path. It sat silently, and started hissing out smoke with almost no noise. He then felt down and slowly pulled out his motion sensor. {roll for whatever skill that uses?}
