Before anyone else could even react to the action going on in the Hotel, there is a loud knocking on the door. Dirk, being the more solid of the two men at the moment opened the door to find himself face to face with Hotel Security. The man must have been a giant in a previous lifetime because he was huge. Standing well over 6'8" and weighing in at 325lbs, he didn't seem like one who took kindly to jokes about the weather.
"I have been called up here to take care of a disturbance. You dumbass marines, have been reported as being to loud by our other paying guests." He paused in midsentence noticing the bloody towel and the blood stains running down the front of Erick's shirt. "That's it you are all out of here. You will pick up your gear and get out of this establishment. We will not have any fighting here. You will not be reimbursed for your money, since you have spent most of the night here. Do I make myself clear?" He drew himself up to his fullest height, his face twisted into a nasty snear that would have curdled milk.
The Alley
He walked the back ally ways in a rage, drinking and kicking objects around in his path.
Fox kicking around the alley hadn't gone unnoticed. Even in a fairly well maintained city that was so close to the Marine Bootcamp, crime had been a well paying job. And in the eyes of the youngest member of the Pit Vipers, this drunken slob was about to net him and some of his homies a nice score. He slipped out his cell and placed the coded call to them. A call that he knew would send them running. Most of his homies had already been jumped into the gang this would serve to bring in those who had not yet made the advance from a mule to a full fledged member.
Three minutes passed and the rest of the young gang bangers slipped into the darkened alleyway. They silently slid up behind the ranting male
figure. Fingers tightened around the bats handles, within the weighted gloves, and the saps they carried. As the senior member of the group, the first to spy the Fox, he drew his .22 from his out of the back of his waist band. This is in case it gets out of hand, he thought.
Like wraiths they closed on the marine, each eager to give the man the smack down, each eager to prove he was worthy of becoming a Pit Viper.
