August 2180 AD.

Six months have passed since the desperate fight onboard the Andromeda spaceship on LV-142. Having found evidence that Weyland-Yutani intentionally pitted them against the ferocious Alien species on purpose to test the Aliens capabilities; the Marines have since then had an uneasy feeling that they would soon face these horrors again.

A select few of the Marines from the 8th were sent on Force Recon training the last couple of months in preparation for an upcoming mission - Thus increasing the marines suspicion of them soon being put into action against the Alien species again.

The finale of the Force Recon training course being a joint training operation with the rest of the 8th platoon on one of the Jungle planets in the Barnards Star system.

But as things would turn out, it would become so much more than just a training operation...
