James keyed the mike, "Sarge or LT, whats the word? We all clear or do we need to be prepared for fire on this end?" He looked around and drank in the dreary scenery that was surrounding the group. Switching the frequency to First Squad's channel, "Con, what's your reading on the motion tracker?"

The whole fight, which was as onesided as anything Nick had ever been involved in, had lasted only a few minutes. Various parts of the creatures were scattered all around the area.

"Well the contacts just got taken care of L Cpl Eagle, courtesy of marine issue 10mm, however we'll just take a few minutes to check to see if anything else wants to have a go. Whats your current situation?"

While replying to L Cpl Screaming Eagle, Nick constantly scanned the area for any movement.

"Everything, is secure on this end, sarge. We are awaiting further orders to continue within the vessel or to rally at your location."

The eery mist was still flowing around their ankles, but from what James could tell there was not much activity to see. Every once and a while the lights from 2nd squads helmets could be seen to flash in the not so far distance.
