Re: Final Turn: Revelations

Paulson lept into action to cover the left hallway, the tone on his motion tracker urgent and piercing "whatever is coming is coming soon" he said to anyone listening. he took a knee so someone could easily fire over him and let his shoulder lamp shine down the corridor. conscious that they had had ...

Re: Turn 10: Welcome to Frankenstein's

Paulson briefly thought back to prom night, she had been better than that, but not a lot he thought, he quietly chuckled then mouthed back "i wish". he scanned the motion detector again, the interference was still there but he was sure there was some movement he just couldn't quite get range and bea...

Re: Turn 10: Welcome to Frankenstein's

"no close movement" paulson reported, "sever interference at mid to longer range inconclusive signals but looks like movement in the labs up ahead may be" he whispered. by this time Henniger was reading the count Paulson covered the area ready to lay down any fire that was necessary to back up Henn...

Paulson kept his motion tracker active and thanked whatever god was listening he did not have to bear the guilt of that child's life, he had been too busy checking the motion detector to fire quick enough before the cease fire order had come in for that he was both embarrassed and overjoyed. as they...

Re: Turn 8: The Approach

Paulson pulled out his motion detector as the first shot fired from right next to him, the same target he had been aiming at started to receive incoming fire, Paulson just wanted to be sure it was just these two black armoured men and the apparent child in this area.

Re: Turn 7 - Preparations

Paulson gave up trying to fix the turrets he was as sure as he could be they would work just had a bad gut feeling he had forgotten something. there was no real way to easily move them around and remain combat effective or quiet so at Morse and Heniger's suggestion he stripped the ammo out of them a...

Re: Turn 7 - Preparations

Morse had suggested taking the gun with the entry team and although the thing was technically man portable Paulson had never really lugged one any distance. it would burden up one with the gun and another with ammo and Paulson was still not sure he had made a big mistake somewhere in reassembly. "Mo...

The good news was the ammo was the same so even if senior ranks decided not t...

Re: Turn 5 - Overwhelming Force, Squad 1,2

Paulson had no idea what Kelly had said but he covered the now surrendered troops as they were processed, every min checking the motion detector just to be sure no one else was sneaking around as they got distracted with prisoners. it did not pay to get so focused that you forgot your surroundings. ...

Re: Turn 5 - Overwhelming Force, Squad 1,2

Paulson had noticed the same thing, non fatal shots seemed to be coming from the mechanized infantry, considering he was about to come out of cover he hoped that that would not change. seeing the fire power descending on the two standing mech troops Paulson opted to go with his original plan and put...
