Re: Turn 7: Breach!
Paulson slowly raised his weapon from ready to aimed, it was unlikely this was one of their men but people did stupid things when faced with guns some times. the man had not yet noticed them in the poorly lit ally but he would shortly. "contact at rear door" he whispered into his mic, "looks like a ...

Re: Turn 6: Lets Get a Drink
Paulson braked hard as they came into the front area of the bar, he shut down the apc and coded the ignition, didn't want anyone running off with it when they weren't looking. he grabbed his shiney new shot gun and left his flamer stowed, he felt very light and exposed without it and his customary t...

Re: Turn 5: Gear Up!
Someone opened the drivers door and a shotgun plus box of ammo was passed in, it was in pristine new shiny condition, Paulson gave it a one over, racked it a few times to make sure the action was clear and smooth, then loaded up with the less than lethal rounds.

Re: Turn 5: Gear Up!
"someone grab me a shotgun plus a box of less lethal please" Paulson shouted from the front seat. having been in boot camp they all had had experience of less lethal rounds as drill instructors where vindictive and cruel people using them as "encouragement was not unheard of, these rounds where not...

Re: Turn 4: Roll Out!
Paulson listened to Henniger as he drove, quickly thinking over his gear that he had brought, he had no less than lethal options with him, if they decided to go down this route he would just have to be the pile on guy while other people took a more sophisticated option, Paulson really hoped it would...

Re: Turn 3: Starting Out
"I'm driving ,roger that" ,Paulson replied. Jumping into the front seat he ran trough system checks and checked for positions of switches and layout of gears, nothing out of the ordinary jumped out at him and he turned the engine over, it roared into life then settled to a more stable background hu...

Re: Turn 3: Starting Out
Paulson quickly answered his squad ping and checked out the radio frequencies, the elevator trip had been a rush at first but soon wore thin as time under 4g went on and on, he stretched and tried to limber up before they all squeezed into what looked to be very small open top and only lightly armor...

Re: Turn 2: The Briefing
Paulson sat through the blessedly brief talk and took in most of what was said, alarm bells sounded as the lack of clearance of other troops was mentioned. that had happened before and not ended well for several people. he mentally noted to change his load out back to incinerator, although a good sh...

Re: PCs and their Roles
Paulson, special weapons trained.
carrying incinerator with spare bottle
motion detector expert.
turret repairs and use skills.
standard non combat gear and mess supplies, rope, bed role, mess kit etc.
otherwise light on gear because incinerator and spare ammo is so damn heavy.

Paulson was still half way through name rank and serial number bulshit when the new gunney started his intro. he vaguely wondered whether all gunney's thought they where god almighty and then had his attention snapped back by the medic who was still awaiting answers. he stumbled through them as he a...

Re: Turn 13: Call In the Cavalry
Paulson swallowed the bile that had risen up from his stomach he tried desperately to check his ever speeding breathing knowing that he had limited amounts of air, but it was not working, his mind raced, what could be living down here? and how hungry would it be? massive bogey did not sound good and...

Re: Turn 11: Extreme Pressurization
Paulson found himself on his ass slammed into a corner but all his systems read green, " all green good to go " he reported, next motion was to sweep with the tracker but it was useless, the movement of the water plus all the contents of the ship being hurled round gave a multitude of false positive...
