Re: New join form in the making...
Hi, I am in the process of creating a character using the join form and there is one thing thing that brought a lot of trouble...for me at least. Once you choose a skill (expert, novice or any other) you can't changer your decision the only way is "ctrl + z" or undo. But if you first chose your skil...

Turn 3 - The depth of darkness
The APC was quite it seemed all the marines were preoccupied with the recent death of their fellow marine. Altair didn’t feel neither sorrow nor grief after all if the man wanted to take away his own life it was his own business. What the boy didn’t like was the way the corps have overlooked the...

Turn 2 - Morning of the Incursion
It always amazed Altair how could people so blindly believe in God. Not that he was against religion of any kind, his father was a Muslim, while his mother was a devout Christian, he and his sister was brought up to follow any kind of religion and the boy was glad for that. Altair didn’t know exac...

Turn 2 - Morning of the Incursion
Being a smart boy Altair didn’t believe a word the general had said. He had read many history books and his own grandfather was in a military when he was younger even though Altair’s father tried to hide that part of their family history. History books told of valor and great victories, many gen...

Turn 1 - Briefing
Altair somehow felt out of place with his dirty and mud smeared full body armor on, but there was nothing he could do, he was on guard duty when the message came for two platoons to assemble. Having just enough time to stow away his motion tracker and pulse rifle, Altair arrived at the tent. Taking ...

Turn 7 Into the Dark
Altair froze just as his friend opened fire; suddenly the boy was at a loss. He was not scared but was in a kind of stupor a stupor which many people have experienced when entering their first real firefight, faced with real danger, boot camp provided good training but they couldn’t quite teach th...

Turn 7 Into the Dark
Altair stared in total astonishment, just as the thing approached them quickly covering the remaining distance. The boy was not scared right now his analytical mind took over, just as the boy tried to take in every detail of the creature: his appearance, posture, movement and overall behavior to try...

Turn 7 Into the Dark
Morrison turned his head, keeping his rifle pointed down the tunnel: "Well, that's just bloody peachy, innit? Stay calm, and give me a better reading. Earn that paycheck!" Morrison was getting frantic. Everything was happening too quickly not that it made Altair scared but it was difficult for the ...

Turn 7 Into the Dark
Tarik’s advice was indeed a good one. Altair remembered the flare their instructors have used on one of the training missions in boot, what was it called again? Starshell? The boy knew that it was fired in to the air and that once it reached 200m the parachute would open and the shell would provid...
