Hi Nick and rest,
it would be nice, if there would be a "playground" for character play outside of a main mission plot, so that, if a post lag due to inavailability of game master occurs, we can still have some side story line fun.

I am doing fair to middling! Having to cover a lot of hours but only getting paid for 40. But that is what happens when you join Administration! To be perfectly honest folks I got burned out trying to keep a story going with minimal interaction from the players and I no we are not the young players that many of you were back in 2006 when we first started this journey and we all have responsibilities that are far more important than this game so not mad at anyone. Between work, my dad having an LVAD installed which is basically the only reason he is alive now and watching him as he is completely limited in what he can and cannot do is depressing and heart breaking. His Parent's lived until 90 and 94 years of age and he and his younger brother (who passed away 1 year ago today) won't even make it past 75. My dad will turn 74 on the 14th of this month and my mom and I watch each holiday come by and we think to ourselves that is could and most likely will be the last one for us with him.
So I definitely need the break from reality just not sure that I have what it takes currently to head up the campaign as the main GM or Storyteller!

If someone feels like picking up the torch after Pale now would be a great time. I might be able to run a single mission with you guys as GM in December if we can get a squad together.

I'm sorry to hear that Charles. Life isn't easy.
I will play no matter who the GM is.
My best suggestion is consistent timing of GM posts. If the GM is busy I am happy to post impartially in their place to keep the story going.

- can you live with my "house rules"?, that is ...
+ fixed time-based turns of player-action (i.e. two weeks time span from saturday to saturday), time variing according to the actual situation at hand
+ players, who do not post within a turn must live with game-master decisions regarding their character
+ players are given a "unique" insight information before each turn
- for starters, i would stick with the "devil dawgs" szenario, that is, an elite USCM special forces strike team, and straightforward "bug hunts"
-> i suggest, that players, who are willing to participate, just add their "Commitment" via reply to this thread
-> and the site administration must grant me the necessary rights to do the "Game Master Job"

For my part, I am 100% behind all of your conditions.
And, even if I was not in favor of them, I would still support anyone who will do the job to the utmost of my capacity.
I have played a campaign with Nick as GM and it was awesome! Max and Martin I have not. I will support absolutely anyone who will do the job.
If it became necessary I would be the GM, but I do not want the responsibility. I am perfectly willing to be a back-up GM in case the real GM gets busy and needs someone to make a post.
