The group was too big anyway. Hard to keep track of so many players. If obrien and wilks survive we need to ditch them too. And we can get rid of scout squad

I agree with only half. Ditching the "scout" squad and just Making it a regular squad. As for group being too big I completely disagree. As always we need a recruitment rush after this mission before the next one. We always try to have a group to try to match the movie platoon, and we get a buffer zone of casualties and a variety of rank so its not just a group of 10 people, 4 of which are sergeants and the rest corporals.

Plus we all like variety. And if we weren't doing that whiskey and Marcus wouldn't really be here as fairly recent entries.

I'm not opposed to having a big group. I guess my complaint is having 15 characters, and only 8 of them being active players.

As for getting rid of Obi and Wilks; I have no idea who Wilks is or if whoever created him ever made any posts; but O'brien has been here forever and I'm guessing his recent long departure from the boards might be due to a military assignment....I know this has caused him some issues in the past; so with that in mind; count me down as one vote for keeping O'brien at least among the living!

Wilks was played by msullivan. And I agree about O'Brien, he just needs a transfer or an assignment on the dropship instead of going into action.

And he means lady predators. Like in the movie Predator.

Wilks was active earlier on, like Creed. But I think they just lost interest in the slow times. Its common, but there has been no evidence of their return.

I agree with Sam. Keep Obi. It won't be the same without him. He and Quinn and Morse and several others have been through tons of crap and they provide the continuity the newbies like us need.

Welcome back Taimdala! Also....the rank thing has to do with the number of posts you make; NOT your character's rank 'In Game'.....this has caused confusion for any number of people in the past.

Thanks, Sam. It's funny, though. I'm on different boards that have their own themed ranking system based on the number of posts made. On Fireflyprops.net, I've Browncoat rank over there and when I see it, it doesn't confuse me one bit. But slap a military rank under my user name and I get all flustered. LOL. I guess it's because I didn't serve in RL and it throws me a little to see a rank attached that I didn't "earn". As a military brat I picked up the idea that I should serve before wearing a rank. I know it's make believe here--really, I get it. No biggie. I just got that old knee-jerk reaction when I saw it and thought, "Hey, wait. I didn't enlist, so why ...?"
