Equipment Question part deux.....

Quicksilver's latest thread actually prompted a question in my mind; which I'll ask here....and which very well may have been answered already; but I don't remember the answer; so sorry if this is a re-post!

In cases where the gamebook info differs from the Wiki; which is the final arbiter? An example is the drum for the Smartgun holds 192 rounds in the gamebook and 300 rounds per the Wiki. Which is correct?

Final note for anyone who might be interested: Per the Gamebook; the Pulse Rifle & Submachinegun both fire 6 rounds each time the trigger is pulled (i.e. a Character with 5 Actions possible in a round could fire a Pulse Rife 5 times and expend 30 rounds); the Smartgun fires 12 rounds. The SMG has a clip of 48 rounds; the Pulse Rifle 95 (I guess 96 with 1 round removed to reduce jamming chances...historically, this happened all the time....the Lewis gun, BREN, Soviet DP 28, etc.); the Smartgun 192.

For literary purposes; saying "Joe hoses down the enemy with a long continuous spray; emptying half the magazine" is perfectly fine; but if anyone wants to "synch up" game mechanics and writing; I thought I'd throw this out there!

In all cases I go with the wiki. - It's better put together and we all have easy access to everything in it. Also it seems to have a better grasp on things.

The Smartgun in the wiki actually says it has 200 rounds (300 was for the M41A-E2). Also the M41A it says it holds 100, but most load with 95 to reduce jamming rate.

Really none of it matters because mechanics wise, we don't tend to track that all to much. This stuff is all really aesthetic and narrative, and we handle the ammo and such well on our own. But because its strictly narrative I always go with the wiki just because its easier and clearer.
