Hanson's voice comes over the comm; "Starting our last descent to nape of the earth....better hold on to something".
Closing his eyes and pressing himself firmly against the back of the seat to hold on as the Dropship plunged down into a steep dive, Obi gritted his teeth as the G-Forces pressed down against his body for what seemed like an eternity, when suddenly the pressure was released as the Dropship levelled out. Ugh, I really hate it when they do that. Obi directed his thoughts towards the cockpit, where no doubt the Dropship crew were congratulating each other on how many G’s they managed to pile on for the ground pounders in that last little manoeuvre.
All right people, Invictus has kicked off; our fellow marines have launched their attack and we'll be touching down in just over a minute. Stick to the plan; watch each other's backs and let's get the job done."

“Aye, Aye Sir!” Obi called out as he undid the webbing harness, standing up he removed the PRC-252 Radio from where it was secured, powered the unit on and put the Radio backpack on, adjusting the straps so it sat high and firm. Gathering up his rifle with his right hand, he held onto a support with his left as the Dropship rocked about the sky in approaching the LZ. M-41A, five spare mags check, four M40 grenades check, five M95 flares check, VP-70 with three spare mags check, two spare radio batteries check, Bypass Kit check. Obi mentally ran through his kit as the Dropship’s engines changed and a slight bump was felt as the craft touched down. Here we go again. Obi thought as the APC’s engine roared to life.

"OK everyone you heard the Captain get your shit together. As soon as we exit the APC I want Motion Trackers on-line and the LZ secured. Keep in your squads and we're follow the Captain moving up covering one another until we approach the target. I don't want any Lone Wolf's or Rambo's out there just do your job and watch each others back and we should come out of this in one piece. Support Squad stick with Second Squad until we have secured the LZ then we're look to be getting you to your LUP"

Simovic then cocked his Pulse Rifle and started checking to make sure all his equipment was secure.

Gaz drew the magazine from his pulse rifle and slammed it back into place to make sure that it was secure. He was trying to mentally prepare himself for the drop when he heard Sgt. Simovic shout an order. He replied with a "Roger that, sir" and continued with his mental check list.

Quinn nodded at Simovic's orders, checking his gear. Once the dropship passed the turbulence, he snapped his restraints up with everyone in the APC. He unlocked his pulse rifle and checked the magazine. A glowing red ninety-five glared up at him and he nodded. Sliding the pump back, there was a grenade up the snout, and with a quick look on the side, there were three in the tube.

"Confirm callsign, Streetgang 1?" he asked his sergeant. If that was the case, then when First Squad split into fireteams, Simovic would lead Streetgang One-Alpha, while Quinn would lead Streetgang One-Bravo. He didn't want to mess up his callsign when on the radio.

Upon hearing the medics' question, Obi shouted to be heard over the noise of the APC.

"That is a roger, first squad is callsign Streetgang 1."
