Ok so I'm in charge now. What should I do? Are we going back in to fight them again? Or should I order a retreat?

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. Unfortunate slow down but we will get past it

We seem to be quite a low efficiency platoon at the moment. Potentially we could try to recover the Lt where ever he ended up in the hive. Realistically it doesn't seem likely that the platoon would stay. Suppose that we could wait around for some other platoon or force to come in, but doubt we'd likely survive the interim period til they show up.

Ok, so i try to sum up, what we should know at this stage of operations:

- there is an unknown alien species
- there are two types: a small spider-like creature, which attaches itself to living people's faces and a big scorpion-like creature, which has acid for blood and is damned deadly
- the spiders emerge from small leather-like shapes, which the platoon encountered in the nest
- obviously, the sulaco's platoon and the colonists of LV-426 must have fallen victim to them (even if we did not find a single corpse, the evidence of struggle at the colony complex is there)
- the LT has fallen victim to them, no body, so he must have been abducted to the nest
- the Sarge is paralyzed by a small one, which is still attached to her face and needs medical treatment at once
- our platoon has suffered other casualties: Caleija and Grayham

In my opion, there is not really a choice, what to do next, because we do not leave marines behind

->
1) attack the hive once more, retrieve knutson, burn everything, retreat to the ship, nuke the site from orbit
2) try to find out where they have come from, because they did not come out of nowhere
3) Priest should try to save/heal/cure Jonsonn

anyway, if a smartgunner is needed, you guys know, where to find one.
