Per the post; I think someone asked about this....the Grenade Launchers on the Pulse Rifles use the Special Weapons Skill (as opposed to Gun Combat).

Also...though we don't have any at the moment....Smartguns use the Machinegun Skill.

This is correct. Any belt-fed SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) uses the Machinegun skill. Anything else that doesn't shoot a bullet or shotgun shell uses the Special Weapons skill.
