I just wanted to make a quick post to make sure that I understand things correctly and to pass it on to newer players...

Unless I'm mistaken; we, the players, do NOT know the outcome of our actions....that's for Nick to roll up and figure out. Therefore, in the current turn (10); for example, we don't know if our shots have hit anythinga nd if they have; how much damage they've done....

Just want to make sure I'm clear on this......

Oh yeah....and it's great to have you back Nick! Hope you had a nice vacaction!

That is true for the most part. We can do minor stuff on our own that doesn't really affect the game (like my rolling for the zero-gee) and there isn't much a problem with it.

Combat and mission-centric actions are another matter entirely though. So go easy on the players that are mistaken.
