Yeah there are a few year 1 veterans around. People tend to come and go but surprisingly many come back after a while.
I still have contact with TashW (No 1 player & co designer) as well although she is not playing PBEM games at the moment.
This game started on an old computer in my closet, and moved to the commercial server shortly after. The game went online Christmas of 2005 - Thats five years people, in on it's sixth now...
Gladly I am also seeing new players arrive every now and then, don't ask me how the find us! But there is still interest in PBEM gaming, which is heartwarming for an old PBEM player as myself. I started PBEM gaming with the USCMPBEM back in 95 (omfg: 15 years ago!) with Chris Deale as GM. Thats where I got in contact with Tash, who also played in that game - So with me and Tash as the founding members this game has some serious USCM history in it - history which you all as players are no little part in making.
Many adventures up ahead as well. My only worry is how we are going to name campaigns when we run out of the alphabet fifteen or so years from now.
Game on!
