Weapon Allocation

The platoon only has access to four M56 Smartguns, four M240 Flame Units and two M42A Scope Rifles. Everyone else has M41A Pulse Rifles.
So far the following have these different weapons:
Pvt Marion Windrider, Squad 1 = M42A Scope Rifle,
LCpl Dirk Pitt, Squad 4 = M42A Scope Rifle,
LCpl Conrad Heart, Squad 1 = M56 Smartgun,
Pvt Sean Collins, Squad 2 = M56 Smartgun,
Pvt Octavius Mongo, Squad 3 = M56 Smartgun.
So we still have one M56 Smartgun spare.
We need to have a Smartgunner in each squad so only characters from Squad 4, that have at least Novice in the machinegun skill can apply for this.
If someone really desperately wants a Smartgun and they have Untrained in the machinegun skill let me know and we maybe able to shift some skills around.
One person in each squad can have a Flame Unit they must have at least a Novice rank in Special Weapons to request one.

Windrider puts in a bid for the Scoped Rifle. Gun combat is Expert. machinegun and special weapons is untrained. Please see the stats character is geared towards infiltraion and scouting...scope rifle may be good if you wish for Windrider to reach out and touch someone.

While I be a fixed smartgunner from now on? I'm just asking since my character also is the best comm and welding expert within the platoon.

Everyone gets a portable welder as as basic gear, as long as they have at least Novice in the skill. I'm not sure how Nick is allocating com tech gear, which is basically the bypass kit Hudson uses in Aliens and a large backpack radio for long range communication.

Just wanted to also mention if you have any skill rank other than untrained in motion tracker you get issued one of those too.

no special weapons request but i have a high rating in welding and medic as well as infiltrtion....so juat let me know if i have anything extra or i will assume, basic stuff plus a medical kit.

No idea what level my gun combat rating is, but it is fairly high if I recall. I'll put in a bid for the scoped rifle.
