Well, do we have enough people who stick around to open up a new squad? That alone takes nine people (Sergeant, 2 corporals and six squaddies), and since our LT left that's another hole we have to fill, along with another soldier dieing in a squad. That's another hole to fill. I highly doubt it'll work, unless we pull four soldiers as a pair of Recon teams.

But this game needs some DMRs, not just straight up sniper rifles. Or we could keep one sniper as a DMR, and just have one Recon team. That'd be more realistic. Shooter in command of the team (SSgt at least), and one spotter (equip with radio for calling in airstrikes, also binocs).

Unless we want to stay to strict canon.

Well, there are alot of people wanting to play, including me. If you check the roster of new people you might find that you might have enough to open up another squad. I've read comments from about three or four people alone that keep checking the site...I'm the "new" guy but I think you might be able to pull it off. But, the recon tam would be good idea, but how would that work exactly? Have like two snipers and two spotters?

No there's not going to be a recon team or another squad. It's already to hard for the GM to control things as it is. What is more likely is that players who have become inactive will be removed and then new players added to take their place. Whether the old ones will be killed off or not is up to the GM.  :o

Nick is looking at maybe adding a few new players in this campaign but I can't promise anything.

No recon squads.

Made that misstake before with this game and all the sudden we had one or two people in a lot of squads.

There will be places when there are places to be made.

Most likely by the next turn, however I am considering how wise it would be to enter players into a mission that is soon scheduled to end.

Yeah click on the Byrons Bandits link and then click Link to Roster. Then download the roster and open it in excel.

I just checked the character pages, to assign appropriate orders based on loadout etc.

I have a knockout value of 90. A clear 25 or 30 above my nearest.

I've read most of what is going on and I still don't understand all the numbers stuff. I need some major help. I can't figure out how to start creating a character profile, other than the oneds with the numbers and stuff. Do I just jump right in? Or what?

Need help! I have no idea how to do this.

What I found helped - is decide what you want your character to be...

A clever guy, A tough guy, A coward who's an awesome shot...

Create a character, then decide how the skills he has would reflect this.

If he's a clever guy, maybe you want him not as strong - but with a lot more technical skills etc etc
