Simovic swore when he saw the creature burst from the womans chest, if she'd have been pumped full of morphine when he'd ordered she may have had a chance. Still now was not the time to worry about that especially as Wey was grappling with the creature.

Unfortunately he wasn't in a position to get a clear shot at it so he pushed past a few Marines but before he got a shot off Quinn had opened fire. However he still trained his Pulse Rifle on it, in case by some miracle it had survived.

[O.O.C maxvale76 the only people currently in the support squad are you, Shepard and Hoffman who is watching the combat from the control room onboard one of the APC's.

Jean fell to the ground and heard the shots. She was sure that once that Alien was served up in that pizza box that it was thoroughly shot up. She sat on her bare knees and observed her hands. One hand was sliced up good and missing two fingers, the other was limp. Jean slammed her hand against a pipe until the fingers started working. She picked up her gun and tucked it into the band of her holster, one of the few things that she had on. She limped to the body of the girl she was trying to help and combed her fingers through her hair one last time.

"I'm sorry."

Jean took a breath and opened a med kit. Her emotional processors were filling her with regret, pain, and sorrow. She wished she could find that part of her software and turn it off. For now, the least she could do was concentrate on doing something to keep her mind off of her failure. Her hand began to quit bleeding it's white hydraulic fluid as she began bandaging up the hand with med-wrap. She didn't want to appear unhuman when she ran into someone, and she didn't want to lose her hydraulic fluid either.

Jean stood up and looked down at her foot. There were plenty of tiny holes on the sides and bottom of her foot where the little Xenomorph punched holes into her synthetic skin, but that was something to worry about later. She put her shoes on so that contaminated chunks of the city sewer wouldn't find it's way into her inner mechanics. Jean limped to Quinn and gave him a hug  just before taking her position in the bulk of Team one.

She really handn't expected that poor girl to be infected, but she was wrong. Jean shook her head as she ran the incident through her data drive to re-experience it. She did everything she could, right down to giving the poor girl the clothes off her back. Jean, even as an android, wasn't prepared for the horrors that she had been programmed to endure.

"I wish I could have helped more," she whispered within earshot of a few Marines.

"Roger that sarge!"said Colwell as realized he had just gotten the top kick's attention in a bad way.  "Man, I sounded really green just now." thought Colwell as he continued his gun arc sweep.
"What was that thing?  A big Leech or something?"

When Jean punted the small creature across the sewer, Sixtus tracked it with the barrel of his rifle, the butt pressed firmly into his shoulder with his cheek pressed against the stock. When the thing landed, Sixtus opened fire. The roar of the rifle on full automatic was deafening, even with the bursts that the medic was using.

When he was done, he just stood there looking towards where the thing had landed. When Jean hugged him, she could feel him shaking slightly, his body pumped full of adrenaline. He turned to look at the woman, her chest a mess of red viscera.

"Civilian down, KIA." he said over the tac-net, his voice strangely flat.

Obi's Post:
The rapid exchange of gunfire continued as it echoed through the sewer tunnels.  Obi held his position as did his fellow Marines of Two Section.  At least the screaming has stopped.    Obi thought to himself, while he wouldn’t admit it to his fellow Marine’s, but that woman screaming that truly horrible sound had really tested his nerve.

He now noticed that the dull roar of his fellow Marines engaged in the fire fight was now echoing through the tunnel system and reaching his ears.  While it was indecipherable over the noise of the weapons fire, Obi knew it was the sound of men and women running high on adrenaline and fear.  Keying his headset, Obi spoke quickly.

“ Comd this is Golf Romeo Two, what are your intentions? Do you want us to hold position or move? Over.â€

It took a couple slams into a wall to get her left hand working again. Once she had enough fingers working on the hand that had good fingers, she picked up her gun and rejoined the Marines in the main tunnel. She used her teeth to pull her backpack up to her shoulder. She had no idea she would find herself looking so worn down after only one mission. She went in with a flight suit, and so far, she knew that at the most, she would come out wearing unmentionables and a backpack.

Even under these circumstances, she was bleeding hydraulic fluid from the stubs where she was missing her pinkie and wring finger on her right hand, and the palm of that hand was sliced and diced. She looked over to the dead Xenomorph while she wrapped her hand up in med-wrap. It served no special purpose. Hydraulic fluid doesn't congeal like blood, but she wanted to continue keeping her human persona.

The pizza box lid began to close over the Alien chestburster. "Served with the secret ingredient" It said.

Jeans dark eyes squinted at the sight of irony and her lips curved slightly. She looked to the marine closest to her while wrapping her hand up and then nodded her neck toward the box.

"I'm glad I don't eat. I guess you guys won't be wanting Pizza any time soon," she whispered. There were still sounds of shots coming from down the tunnels. Whoever was in hiding down there must have taken a merry bundle of ammunition with them.

patch snapped out of the trance he had been in as the gunfire from Quinn nearly blew his ear drums out. everything had happened so fast the chest bursting thing, the gunfire, jean calling for help then throwing the creature, finally the quiet almost whispered
"civillian KIA"
from Quinn.

(ooc sorry rl issues, back now.)
