"Lippa, you're at the front. If it's not human blast it. Brown, Colwell, you're behind him. Quinn, guard the rear.
"Aye Sarge."said Colwell as he took up a position to the rear and left of Lippa and again assumed a firing stance by bracing his legs.

Morse heard Stormhurst's question, and he thought he'd answer himself. He was used to to the guy asking large series of questions, and generally was able to answer them quick enough.

"Shit Stormhurst, if ya want the city above to be fallin on our skulls, by all means, unleash the holy fury from the hell rod in your hands. But if you've got a brain in that skull, such as the one as I happen to have, you'll not be touchin that function." Morse said in a rhaspy and sarcastic tone, as to remain quiet enough so they could hear down the tunnels still.

"The structural integrity of tunnels this large should be able to withstand a few M40s but as I don't want to hurt my head or yours with falling rocks, I won't use the launcher then." replied Erik, "for your sake, Morse."

The LCpl safed the launcher and pulled out the collapsible stock. Putting the stock to his shoulder's armor plate, he brought the rifle up so he could sight down the handle. He still scanned ahead of him along the wall with the IR eye lens.

Roll Awareness, if contact 3 action aim with burst.

At the rear of 2 sections' formation, Obi waited in the darkness.  Positioning himself so that he could easily spin around to fire forward towards the contact and to keep an eye out for anything that might emerge behind the section.  Looking intently through his IR helmet lens trying to distinguish the contact in the eerie green glow that was now his only means of seeing.  His right index finger moved ever so slowly and flicked the safety to 'fire' before returning to rest on the trigger.

Senses razor sharp, the sound of his heart beating and the constant drip, drip, drip of water seemed to drown out everything else.  Rifle up into his shoulder, its barrel point to where he looked, Obi scanned around the pitch black tunnel, almost expecting a nightmarish shape to emerge and leap out at him.

Letting out a slow breath, Obi slowed his breathing down.  Thats it, cool it O'Brien, you know what to expect, its time for a little payback.  Obi calmed himself as he waited for the inevitable.

He brought his rifle up, unsafed the action that was switched to burst, scanning the surrounding area. He moved to the wall closest to him to give Morse and Monks a firing lane.

Then he checked his grenade launcher unit and prepped it to fire.

"Sgt, are we OKed to use grenades"?

"Hold off on the grenades. In these small spaces those things wont be aboe to use their speed as much as they would out in the open.Dirk said as he waited for what was comming

His ears filled with silence. In an instant, the bustling sound of rattling gear was over. The Marines snapped in with heavy chests. His eyes darted back and forth, looking up the Northern tunnel. It was hard to fight tunnel vision. More so when you're actually in a fucking tunnel!

He listened as first squad bickered about the use of grenades. What the fuck kind of question was that? Where did that jackass go to Infantry School? Must be a West Coaster...

He wanted to tell them to shut up, but it would be useless. He wouldn't help the situation. Chris gazed hard down into the Northern most tunnel, squinting his eyes, looking for moving shadows.
