Slinging his M42 over his shoulder, O'Brien withdrew his sidearm.  Given the tight quarters of the interior of the facility so far there was not going to be much requirement for a precision sniper weapon.  Hearing the sound of the motion tracker, O'Brien glanced over Johnsons shoulder and looked at the motion trackers display as it carried out its sweeps of the area.  Nothing, not a single bloody thing he thought.  Taking in the interior of the building, he realised that what ever when down here it they well and truly missed the boat. 

Catching Johnsons eye as he looked at the motion tracker, nodding at the display, "well mate, it looks as if the party started and ended with out us hey?

OOC: As Dugan wrote, 2nd squad searched the living quarters alone. The squad is now positioned outside the north building just at the entrance.

Simovic clicked his comms to the platoon channel "This is Simovic, I still need other squads to report there status. It seems there has been some sort of containment breech more than likely underground that has resulted in a fire, over"

"This is Cpl Pitt. 4th squad with Warrant Officer Honeysett are inside the dome. We have found a elevator in the center of the room and are heading down to check out some sound from below."
Dirk said as he rode the elevator down.

Simovic replied on the platoon channel while making his way towards the dome.

"Copy that, we're follow you in. I'm sure Sgt Honeysett will be greatful of the promotion you just gave him too!"


As he neared the building he spoke again into his headset. "Second Squad meet us at the entrance to the dome we're follow 3rd and 4th down"




He then motioned 1st to move up and get in a defensive position near the dome entrance. "Patch get your motion tracker online".

Morse was looking around with his M41A in hand. He had the strap around his neck and he looked at the ammo counter. 94 the counter listed. Morse rolled his eyes and clicked he switch and the clip came out. Then he snapped it back in and smacked it on the side. The reader then read 95 like it was supposed to.

Shit, aint there nothin that done work right around here, damn ammo counter keeps messin up. Eric, for the love a the almighty please make sure that there smart guns auto target don't screw up and select my ass as a target. Morse said

"on it sarge" patch answered, as he swung round his motion tracker and set it up and running.

the clear crisp sounds echoed back as the Doppler waves did there thing, man that sound was reassuring.



patch continued to follow his Sargent, covering his assigned section as they skillfully made there way to the  lab dome. it sounded like there was another level below it and that 2 squads were down there already, well at least he wasn't going to be on point. patch smiled as he remembered his first time on point, only a few weeks ago when this strange container mess had started, he had run into a room all eager not checking for booby traps or anything and found a beautiful woman... OK so she turned out to be armed and working for the company, but hey you can't get everything right. he had been lucky not to get killed and he new it, starnge how just a few encounters can change a mans perspectives.

"Sergeant Dugan, Quinn, Second. Ay-firm, barracks are clear. Scopes are also clear." Sixtus commed back over the platoon's tactical communications net, as Kurosaki was busy at the moment. They had split into two teams to search the barracks and had discovered nothing. This was reassuring, but it was eerie as hell. Tapping the newbie on the shoulder, he gestured that they were getting out. Shouldering his SMG, he led the way out.

"Oh darn I had fire at Morse's ass mode set, he he".



Erik took the hint and checked the settings of the Smartgun once again. Setting it to burst so he could hopefully control it with one hand and selecting the "delay" setting for the rounds not knowing what he would encounter down here.

He swept the Motion Tracker around from side to side but kept the Smartgun pointed straight ahead and steady. It was good he was adapt at multi-tasking with the tracker and his Smartgun eye piece feeding his brain info. He also kept his left eye searching the environment ahead of him. Sometimes the electronics could be spoofed, sometimes the mark 1 eyeball could pick up on stuff not detected by the sophicated gear. It was still good to keep the human element in the loop.

holding his shotgun pvt lippa continued with his squad and was looking around cautiosly trying to figure out why no one was around.
he aslo looked down at his motion tracker every few seconds.

Windrider looking around a bit getting his scoped rifle readied up a bit as it seems 1st squad is going to be moving out.  He begins to wonder if what will be inside the great dome that sits before them.  What will open up within his sights...what will it be.

"Windrider is ready to roll.  Want me on overwatch?"

Luke sat in a crouched position. His Submachine gun up in the high ready position scanning the perimeter. He slid his trigger finger down into one of his pockets pulling a dip pouch out and tossing the pouch in like a piece of gum and slid it into place while grinning wildly. Luke kept his mouth shut, and was awaiting his orders to move because the living quarters were secured away. Since the didn't find anything they sat out in the entrance like a pack of wolves waiting to attack there next victim. Luke turned towards the squad leader with a puzzled look on his face.

"Windrider is ready to roll.  Want me on overwatch?"

"No you got point, we move down to the lower levels once 2nd Squad gets here. Be ready to go to Infrared if theres no lighting down there" Simovic motioned 1st Squad into the dome and then pressed the button to call the service lift up. He checked his weapon while he waited for Second Squad.



[O.O.C Exowolf 3rd Squad has your Scoped Rifle for this mission and you have a Pulse Rifle. However looks like this will be the better choice especially if we end up fighting in confined spaces].
